Jungkook panicked, while Jimin stood frozen, sweating. He looked at his husband and cried even more, terrified of losing his babies and Jungkook. "Koo-kie, please save u-s," Jimin said with a shaky voice. Jungkook turned to Mr. Kim, pleading for him to spare his husband. He felt he had no other option.
"Kill me, do whatever you want with me, but please leave my family," Jungkook said, his eyes filled with tears as he gazed at Jimin. But Jimin shook his head, insisting he couldn't let Jungkook die.
"No, baby, we have to save our babies. I don't have any choice," Jungkook replied, forcing a smile at Jimin, who was crying uncontrollably. They had been so happy together, and now their family was in peril.
"We can't leave him, and your babies. You all have to die, especially your babies, the true Jeon heirs."Mr.Kim announced.
Jungkook felt a surge of anger and confusion. Yes, his babies would be heirs when they grew up, but right now, he was the heir. What was going on? Why were they saying this? They should be killing him, not his babies. If they wanted anything from the Jeons, they had to take out Jungkook. So why target his babies?
"Don't overthink it, Jeon. Your babies are the true heirs of the Jeons. You didn't know anything because your fake father and mother never told you the truth."Mr.Kim said, smirking to see frown on Jungkook's forehead.
"Fak-e father, fake-e moth-er.?"Jungkook was confused about what they were saying, but when Mr. Kim presented him with the will papers, everything became clear. He couldn't believe that his real father was dead; his entire life had been a lie. It was shocking to learn that his father was murdered by his own brother, the man he had believed to be his real dad all his life. And his mother? Just a fake mom, his aunt who married Mr. Jeon (his fake dad) for money. They had plotted together from the beginning, driven by jealousy, and aimed to eliminate both him and his son, little Guk (Jungkook), who was just four years old and unaware of the chaos around him. They thought it would be easy to kill them and seize everything, but they were mistaken. They had no idea that Mr. Jeon was the true owner of the Jeon Empire and Jungkook's real father, who had renewed his will just in time with the help of Mr. Park (Jimin's dad), his best friend, who advised him to make changes due to his suspicions about his brother, not knowing he would lose his best friend in the process.
The murder plot unfolded; Jungkook's real father was killed by his older brother in his own mansion, while Mrs. Jeon was killed by her sister in a car accident involving little Guk. Miraculously, little Guk survived; he was still breathing when the ambulance arrived, but his condition was critical.
Later, when Jungkook's father older brother discovered the will, he panicked upon realizing that his brother had left all his property to his grandchild, meaning Jungkook's child was the rightful heir. They thought they had lost everything, but then he received a call from the hospital informing him that Jeon Jungkook was alive. This prompted them to devise a new plan. Little Jungkook had lost his family and some memories, coming to terms with the murders of his parents.
That's why his fake dad was pushing for him to marry as soon as possible; he wants an heir. If they eliminate the real heir, they can claim ownership of the Jeon Empire."
