Hi everyone, it's that time again! This chapter is an original creation by me, it can be considered a filler chapter. I put it in to help make the story longer and fill in the gaps and put my own work into here. I am combining elements from the Justice League Unlimited series with the Injustice games. The original story can be found on Fanfiction.net, it's called An Injust Sentence, and the author's name is Injustice Redhead. Let me know what you all think!

The Present

After Batman left, the guards came in and brought Wonder Woman back to her cell. All the times before when Diana and Bruce would have these back and forth debates, it never fazed her. She always felt she had made the right decision in helping Clark pacify Man's World and lead them in peace and prosperity. Diana had fought so hard, had given in to her anger so many times to do what was necessary that it seemed she was more bloodthirsty than Superman. The Amazon had only wanted to bring peace to the world, so she could finally live a life freely with her love. For the first time now, the tiniest prin pricks of doubt began to form. She hadn't seen it then, as Batman stood against them and incited her anger by rejecting not just his friendship with Clark but what she and Bruce had built together after years of flirtatious encounters. Could it really be that I was blinded by loss and Clark's suffering that I abandoned my mission as an ambassador of peace? No, it can't be that. Bruce can't see what I was trying to do for us. For our...

Diana was brought out of her introspective thoughts as a guard pushed her hard in the left shoulder in order to quicken her slowing pace. The Amazon hadn't even turned her head around fully to glare at her assailant when he said in a gravlely voice. "Keep moving, prisoner. I'm not looking to cart your ass around anymore than I have to." She felt her blood boil instantly at this, wishing she could turn around and teach him a good lesson in manners. However, the Amazon was powerless, and surrounded by six large and well built men. Without her powers and with her hands and feet shackled together Diana lacked the mobility needed for combat. She wouldn't be able to do much, and they could put her in a world of hurt and report that she had become violent with them to justify their actions. So the Princess did the only thing she could right now, she quickened her pace and blew out her anger in a silent breath of rage.

Once Diana was back in her cell, the guards began to remove her restraints. After the ones at her ankles were removed, the survey guard stopped his fellows and stared at the prisoner. Diana arched an eyebrow in a questioning look and asked, "Something on your mind, little man?" The answer she received was a hard nightstick to her gut, dropping her to her knees as the air was explosively knocked out of her. Diana gasped several times, desperately trying to pull oxygen back into her lungs and finally began to cough and sputter after what seemed like an eternity. The guard placed a foot on her shoulder and pressed down, his boot digging into her as he kept her on her knees. "I bet you wish the roles here were reversed right now. I bet you Amazons think that all men should be under the boots of all women." Diana's breathing began to return to normal and the ache in her chest began to subside. She couldn't help it, as her emotions got the better of her and the Princess of the Amazons glared up at her captor, her piercing blue eyes shooting daggers at him through strands of her raven hair.

The guard took his foot off her and quickly moved to her side, to then swiftly kick her as hard as he could. The blow connected harder then the first one had, with his boot finding her solar plexus and his shin shoving hard into her ribs. Again Diana was left gasping for air and only managing to squeak in pain momentarily until her body began to pull in air and she coughed and gasped. She groaned in pain and collapsed inwards to the fetal position, not caring that the position caused just as much pain as her attacker did right now. The other guards reacted then, one of them trying to take him by the shoulder to lead him away, others asking in loud voices why he had done such a thing. He shoved the other guard off him and pointed his nightstick at all of them and said. "Back off! Don't put your fucking hands on me! You all forget what this bitch did to the world? Huh?"
