Chapter 4

Everyone is settled in living area after Holika Dahan ceremony. Elders where discussing regarding the Holi celebration while Patralekha is busy in serving the drinks to them. Virat was settled on the corner sofa with sunny beside him.

Patralekha : Dekho Sai tumhare liye jagah hi nahi hain yaha baithne ke liye, thik vaise hi jaise is Chavan Niwas mein tumhari koi jagah nahi hain !

Patralekha taunts Sai seeing no space left for her making Sairat irritated. Instead of Sai, it's Virat who replied her this time, " Koi khas dushmani hain aapki Sai se huh ? Jab Sai is ghar ki member thi tab to ek mauka nahi chhoda apne taana marne ka, use humiliate karne ka aur aaj bhi aap hi hain jo use bewajah tana mar rahi hain. Itna obsession sehat ke liye sahi hota vahini ! "

Hearing Virat's words almost everyone in shock. This is the first time ever he was referring Patralekha as his vahini instead of dost. The most shocked person is Patralekha herself, she felt numb hearing him. Him calling her vahini is her biggest nightmare which becomes true.

' Inka pakhi puran ab jake khatam ho gaya bappa ! Thank you so much bappa, ab bas aap Holika mata ko maska laga kar meri prayers puri karado, mein apko modak dungi. Are mera wala nahi, agar unko de diya to meri jawani aur jine ka kya matlab rah jayega, hain ki nai ! ', Sai winks towards the Ganpati's idol while mind talking with him.

" Virat tum yeh ... ", Some words escape from her mouth who was frozen in her place with tears filled eyes due heartbreak 💔 ( dard mahsus ho raha hain tumko, didi ka turu lobe unko vahini bulaya re bava 🤧 )

" Are Patralekha vahini app meri chinta kyun karti hain? Aapko pata nahi kya mein Gadchiroli se hun, agar jagah nahi hain to kya hua. Mein apni jagah khud banaungi ... ", Sai's words brings Patralekha and others from their shocked states and gives her questioning gaze not understanding what she is saying.

Sai looks towards Virat who was confused as others but soon get it as noticing her gaze on his laps. He was beyond shock this time and questioned himself, ' Yeh sachme vahi karne wali hain jo mein soch raha hun ? '

His doubts confirmed as she started reached near him like Gadchiroli express and flashes her toothy smile. Chavans are looking towards Sairat wanna know what would she do, knowing that she is unpredictable almost every time.

" I am warning you Sai, jo tum soch rahi ho vaisa karne ki sochna bhi mat ! ", He warned her before she could say anything making everyone confused including Sai, how he knows what she is going to do.

" Aap vampire ho ? Jo mere man ki baat apko mere bina kuch kahe pata chal gayi huh ?! Are chhodo na, bad mein bata dena ", Sai exclaimed while turning around, what happened next was unpredictable which makes everyone's eyes widen in shock.

" Maaaay v ! ( Mummy ) ", A growling sunny stands up while rubbing his knees and side body and glared Virat whose left hand were around Sai's bare waist whose eyes widen as well not knowing what just happened.

Well Virat pushed sunny down from sofa and then makes Sai sits on Sunny's place. Sunny cursed him under his break and winced, " Sale kutte, kamine. Agar bhabhi ko apne bagal mein bithana to mujhe kyun jabardasti bithaya vaha ? Meri ghutne ki tokariya tut gayi kamine insaan. Maar ja saale tu ! "

Sunny sits on the arm of the sofa while rubbing his knee cap while Chavans recovered from there shocked states. Sai was feeling entire zoo in her stomach at his one touch, could barely control over her blushing face. Sai whispered in his ear, " Vaise to mujhe koi problem nahi hain, par mujhe bohot bhuk lagi hain. Kya aap yeh bedroom mein continue karenge ? "

Virat first gives her confused look then noticed his hand and instantly removed it and moved towards kitchen for making his own dinner. Everyone looked towards him with disappointment knowing that he is not gonna have dinner with them. They silently wents towards dinning area for having dinner.

Sai was confused until sunny clarifies about Virat's stubbornness about making his own tasteless food. Sai shakes her head in understanding and said, " Inke dimag mein kya chal raha hain, kisiko kuch bhi pata nahi hain sunny dada. Bappa koi kamal kardo na ! "

" Mere paas ek idea hain jisse uske dimag mein jo bhi hain vo jhat se bol dega ! ", Sunny exclaimed and told her his plan to know the feelings of Virat. Sai was little unsure about it but then agreed hearing sunny did every year still Virat is unable to control over his mouth and heart.

Post dinner, Sairat room

Virat was already on the bed with head rested against the headboard while reading book. Sai was sitting infront dressing table while lost in her thoughts. In attempt of earning Virat's forgiveness she shouldn't forget about his mental and emotional state after whatever happens during Shruti's scandal.

" Aap bura mane to ek baat puchhu ? ", Sai asked him with geniune care which he can sense and hummed in response indicating her to go ahead. Sai continued, " Aap baki sabse baat kyun nahi karte ? Maine notice kiya ki apne aai se ek baar bhi baat nahi ki aur nahi Ghar ke kisi bade se kyun ? Aap mujhse to baat karte hi hona vo baat alag hain ki sirf jhagda karne ke liye but still. "

Virat kept silence and behaved like he didn't hear or didn't care to answer her. Sai sat on her sides of bed and said calmly, " Virat sir aap nahi jaante apki yeh berukhi aai aur baba ko sabse jyada taklif de rahi hain. Mana unhone galat kiya, infact sabne galat kiya par aap bhi to galat hi ... " She wanna continue but interrupted by Virat who throws the book on the coffee table.

Virat : Unhone mujhe apni chita ko mukhagni dena ka haq chhin liya, mujhse ek beta hone ka haq chhin liya, apne hi bete ko mar jaane ki baddua di aur tum kah rahi ho mera hurt hona galat hain ? Sai koi ek do saal purana rishta nahi tha, Untis saal ( 29 years ), Sai untis saal ! Unka hi ansh huna, unka hi gurur tha mein aur ek hi pal mein paraya kar diya mujhe. Maa baap hote huye bhi anath kar diya aur tum kah rahi ho mera hurt hona galat hain ?

Sai couldn't find any words to console him and looked towards him while tears rolling down from her orbs looking into his which turned red but didn't let tears falls down. He didn't said anything after that and laid down on his side with back facing towards her.

Virat shuts his eyes in attempt of controlling his tears which were hell bent on the surfacing today. Soon sob left his mouth as he felt her fingers in his hairs from back and soon his control broke fillings the room with painful welling of Virat.

Sai makes him turned towards her and dug his face in her breast while he cried like baby clutching her kurta's collar in his fist snuggling more into her. Her hands were roaming on his back for calming him down which is next to impossible.
