"You gotta have some feelings towards her." Phil said as the three made their way into town.
"Even I know the way you look at her is a little too friendly for you to just be friends." Charlie chimed in.
"It's her first time out in the world like this I don't want to freak her out with all the emotions right now. Of course I think she's pretty, I mean her hazel eyes are so beautiful in the morning when the sun hits them just right. Her hair is soft like clouds and the brown is rich like chocolate. She's delicate but not like an egg, she's tougher than that. She's-" Ted's rant was cut off by Charlie.
"She's someone you've fallen pretty hard for."
"Yes, but I'm not going to tell her. I don't want to scare her off."
"You'll have to tell her at some point. She'll have to go home, I'm sure her parents are looking for her." Phil said.
"I know." Ted sighed as Charlie and Phil walked into the first stop. Ted stood outside waiting for them to finish up. He looked around the quiet town, it was early in the morning so not many people were out yet, he looked to a picture posted on a pole. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he walked closer, recognizing the woman in the picture. "What the...?" He trailed off as he took the picture down.

Thea had finished helping Kristin with chores, even learning how to do a few things she had never done. Currently she was reading a book as she sat in the living room while Kristin made dinner for when the boys would return. "We got goods! And we got money!" Charlie cheered as the group walked in. Thea lightly laughed at the young boy before she was encased in her book again.
"How was chores?" Ted asked walking over, picking up her feet to lay them across his lap as he sat next to her.
"Not bad, I learned a few things and tricks from Kristin. I also learned a few stories." She smiled teasingly.
"Oh god, what'd she tell you?" Ted asked before he began subconsciously rubbing her feet.
"First she told me about how they found you, which almost made me cry. Then she told me about how when you were younger you had thought that if you were to place money under you pillow it would duplicate. And she also told me about how you used to think that the strawberry field was haunted." Thea giggled putting her book down. "How was your day?"
"It was nice. Weather was good so we didn't have to worry about that. Although we did have to deal with this lady. She refused to accept the trade, even when we kept adding more than necessary, and we ended up just having to leave. It was upsetting." Ted decided against bringing up the missing poster he saw for her. He could tell she didn't want to go home, he could tell she wasn't happy there, he could tell she was telling the truth about her father. He knew if he brought it up then it would only cause more issues than anything. He trusted that she would tell him when she felt comfortable, he wasn't going to force her to tell him because he didn't want to loose her.
"Well I'm glad it wasn't too bad. May I ask, why are you rubbing my feet?" Thea asked wondering why he started doing it.
"Dunno, felt like it. Why does it hurt?" He asked stopping immediately, not wanting to hurt her.
"No, it feels nice. I was just curious why." She smiled at him.
"Thea, Ted, there's grilled cheese and tomato soup if you want any." Kristin said.
"Oh, I haven't had grilled cheese since I was little." Thea said before she got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen, Ted trailing behind.
"I still don't understand why she wouldn't take the trade, I mean we offered more than we even needed to." Ted complained as the two sat down.
"What was the trade?" Kristin asked as she poured some soup into smaller bowls.
"Four eggs for a bag of flour. She said no, so we kept going. Our final offer was eight eggs, a pale of milk, and twelve bags of wheat for a bag of flour and three bags of rice." Phil said before biting into his sandwich.
"Good lord. Was she your last stop anyway?" Thea asked.
"Nope, we needed the bag of flour to trade with the guy at the bread stand. Luckily we met another guy who traded us five eggs for a bag of flour." Charlie sighed.
"At least it wasn't all bad."
"Oh Phil, what do you think those guys were doing around town?" Charlie asked remembering a question from earlier.
"They're probably looking for the missing princess."
