{Kion's POV}
I spent the rest of the day trying to think of something. Everyone kept saying a change in strategy which didn't work. At dusk I went to the mountain pass where Cheka was waiting. Kopa jumped on him and Nguvu went after the lioness with many scars and fur slightly lighter than Rani's. The Night Pride and The Lion Guard ran and attacked the rest of the lions which left Me and Cheka.
"Cheka, please. You don't have to do this." I begged
"Yes I do. You'll never understand what I've been through." Cheka responded
Cheka pounced on me and I pushed him off. He lunged at me and I jumped away, but his claw managed to scratch my scar, causing it to start bleeding. Suddenly, I couldn't see anything on my left and Cheka used it to pounce on me pinning me down. Surak saw that I couldn't do anything and him and Nirmala got Cheka off of me and took me to the nearest pond to get the blood off of my eye. When I looked back, Surak was fighting Cheka and he was giving Cheka a hard time.
"Argh! Agh! Lions, retreat!" Cheka yelled
"Yes, Sir!" His Pride yelled
Cheka and his pride ran away and everyone piled around me to ask what happened
"Kion! Your face! It's bleeding! What happened?!" Fuli asked
"Cheka got a cheap shot on me, I'm fine though, don't worry." I explained
"Kinda hard not to considering that it's your scar that's bleeding. That thing has a not good history." Fuli responded
"Yeah." I agreed
"Kion will be fine, it's just a scratch, I'll take him and get him healed at the Tree, rest of you, start patrolling." Nirmala said in her usual calming tone
"Yes, Ma'am."
Bunga yawns "And I'm going to bed."
"I'm right there with you." Ono said
Nirmala and I turned and went to the Tree where Rani asked what happened because I don't normally come with my scar bleeding but Nirmala told her that it was just a scratch and told Makini to get the stuff. Makini then returned with a few wet leaves and put them on my eye. Nirmala put her paw on some roots and the rest of the roots in the Tree started to glow. Suddenly, the pain went away and the scar healed again, but it's not gone. Kinda wish it was, but no. Once Makini removes the leaves and Nirmala gave me the all clear, I went to the  hill where I could talk to Grandfather Mufasa. But I didn't. I couldn't. He would tell me the same thing. I laid down and started to think. I couldn't think of anything. All I thought was I wish someone had something useful for me.
Suddenly a light appeared in the clouds and a lioness came, her fur was darker but she looked like a savanna lioness.
"Hello Kion. It is nice to finally meet you."
"Uh, who are you and how do you know me?" I asked
"I am Sarabi. Lions used to remember me as the Queen before Scar came."
"Sarabi... ? You are my grandmother." I concluded
"You are a smart lion. But you looked like you needed some help."
"Yeah. This lion, he came and attacked us. He said he was Scar's son. But no one knows him. Do you know him?"
"I remember a pack of rogue lionesses came and stayed for a few months. Towards the end, I saw a young cub with them when they left. He looked like he was just born. He did look like Scar, but he looked like a son Scar would want. I never saw those lions again." Grandmother Sarabi said
"Oh, so Scar did have a secret son?"
"Yes, and if he's attacking, he would try to avenge Scar. Do you have a plan?"
"No. I tried asking Grandfather Mufasa and he said-"
"Kion."
"Yeah?"
"You cannot ask war advise from someone who's never been in a war. Your grandfather is not the best person to go to." Grandmother Sarabi explained
"I know. I went to my father but he told me the same thing." I replied "But I don't know if I can trust the new lions I let in. I think one of them is a traitor."
"If one of them is a traitor, the other one is sincere." Grandmother Sarabi said "You must learn how to get close while staying far."
"What does that mean?" I asked "Grandfather Mufasa said the same thing."
"You are a smart lion, I think you can figure it out." Grandmother Sarabi said as she faded away. I went to top of the hill and started to think. After 10 minutes, I went to ask Nguvu before he went to sleep.
{Nguvu's POV}
I was about to go to sleep and wait for Father to come. Then I got a bad feeling, I don't feel sick but I feel wrong. Like I'm doing the wrong thing.
"Nguvu!" Kion said authoritatively "I want to talk."
"Yes? What do you want to talk about?"
"Let's go talk somewhere private."
We went to the edge of the Mountain Pass. Right outside on the right of the cliff.
"So what did you want to talk about...?" I started before King Kion tackled me and pinned me on the ground
"I will give you one chance to tell me the truth. *Growls* How is Cheka beating us every single time?!" Kion asked, anger radiating off of him
"W-what?!"
"You heard me. How is Cheka beating us every single time? If you don't tell me, I will treat you like a traitor."
"Kion?! What's happening here?! Why are you standing on Nguvu?!" Rani asked suddenly
"Queen Rani?! What brings you here this late in the night?" I asked
"I was walking around. Anyways, Kion, want to explain?"
"I'm getting information." He said "Either Nguvu or Kopa is a traitor to the pride."
"What? Why would they?"
"Because Cheka would've sent 'em. As a mole."
"Maybe let him stand up. He might tell if you get off of him."
Kion didn't say anything, he just got off of me.
"Get up. NOW!" Kion growled
I scurried up as fast as I could. I felt scared. He reminded me of how Father acts during training. One slip up equals punishment.
"Kion! What is wrong with you?!" Queen Rani snapped
"I am done with this stupid war!" King Kion asserts "He will give us the information or he can say goodbye to having a home here."
"Kion!" Queen Rani yelled
"Okay okay! I would've told if you asked gently but I understand why you got angry." I said, cutting the tension "Father used both of us as moles. There were holes in the story Master Kopa said. He tried to escape so he could get us out. Us as in me, Shani and Tula. Shani is his daughter and Tula was his mate."
"What do you mean 'was his mate'." Kion asked
"Like I said, Master Kopa tried to escape but he was caught. Trying to leave is the highest treason to Father. As punishment, he killed Tula and attacked Shani right in front of Master Kopa who was pinned down and couldn't do anything. Shani is that lioness with all those scars. She is partially blind to teach Master Kopa a lesson and everyone else too. He punished him even further by forcing him to be a mole here, giving him information. And he decided that this would be my final test. If I helped him conquer the Tree, then I could call him Father. I could earn his love. And he would give me a kingdom."
"Oh, so you did it to get a kingdom?" Kion questioned
"No, I did it so Shani didn't get hurt anymore. And because I've always wanted to feel my father's love. My job was the same as Master Kopa's. To be a mole, but we weren't supposed to tell anyone else."
"So why did you tell us?" Kion asked
"Because I hate my Father for what he's done. He's hurt my best friend and he killed my mother when I was a young cub. And he killed the lioness who was like a second mother to me. I wanted revenge, and now was the right time to get it."
"I see..." King Kion said. He walked off leaving me and Queen Rani alone
Queen Rani turned to me "Also, sorry about how Kion was acting. He never acted like that before."
"It's okay. I understand that he just wants to end the war." I said "I would've done the same."
