"Ugh." I said, shrugging my coat of my shoulders. It was three in the morning, and I just got back from drinking with Marcel.

"There you are!" a familiar voice screeched.

"Fuck." I muttered turning to meet the tired eyes of my younger sister Rebekah.

"Hiya Bex." I muttered, walking closer to her. She threw her arms around me and pulled me close, laying her head in my neck, I wrapped my arms around her and let her hug me.

"You had me so worried Cait!" The emotional blonde sighed into my hair. I internally cringed and tried to push her off me, but she held tighter.

"Okay Bex. Bekah hold on-Bex!" I yelled after she squeezed me tighter when I tried to push her off me.

"Bex get off! I don't want boogers in my hair." I screeched, finally being able to get her off of me.

"Bitch." She mumbled wiping her eyes. I rolled my eyes. "Skank." I said back to her.

"Where were you?! These very ugly witches told me that it was important that they talk to you after they just took you." She angrily expressed, looking very disgusted at the mention of witches.

I hid my smile and reminded her that they were werewolves not witches. "Does it look like I care? they were all very ugly."

I nodded my head in agreement. Most wolves don't care about their personal hygiene and it shows.

Rebekah walked away from me and into the living room with a sigh. I shook my head at her antics before I followed her and sat down next to her on the sofa.

I pulled my feet up to my chest and leaned back into the couch. "Have you seen Klaus?" I asked Bekah quietly.

I felt her shake her head next to me. "No." She muttered.

I nodded before leaning over and pressing a kiss to her forehead before standing up. "Night Bex." I said before heading towards my room.

I closed the door behind me and leaned against the door, closing my eyes. I let out a sigh before letting out a scream when I finally noticed the brunette girl sitting on the edge of my bed. Hayley.

"What the fuck!" I screeched making her shoot up with a look of panic in her eyes.

"Hi Caitlin." She said fast. When she tried walking closer to me, I used my magic and threw her across the room.

When she hit the wall, she knocked off a couple of paintings I had on the wall, causing a loud ass noise.

I heard my Rebekah's foot steps and while I normally I would want to hurt who ever tried to break into my house, I needed to get the actual truth out from her about this mate shit.

I rushed over to the crazy ass girl and grabbed her arm. "Invisique." I muttered, causing us to go invisible from any one else in the room. I pushed the girl against the wall and covered her mouth with my hand.

We could only see each other. I pushed myself to get closer to her.

At this point we were chest to chest. Our noses were an inch away from touching. I moved my hand from her mouth and down to my side but making sure to keep my grip on her arm so the spell would still be working.

"Don't move and be quiet." I whispered watching her gaze fall to my lips.

I felt the wind get knocked out of me from her gaze.

My door opened so fast, it slammed against the wall. "Caitlin!" Rebekah yelled having a look of panic on her face once she realized I wasn't in my room.

"Caitlin!" She yelled again, fast walking into my walk in closet making me grip Hayley vamp speed into my bathroom. I opened my shower door and pushed Hayley in there, letting go of her and breaking the spell.

I pointed at her, "Don't move." I whispered very quietly."

"Caitlin! Where are you!" Rebekah yelled again, making grab my robe from the wall next to the shower and quickly wrapped it around my body before rushing over to the sink and putting water on my hair before dumping it on my head to make it seem like I took a shower.

You can never hear my shower running even if your a vampire, which now I was finally happy about. Because it was quiet, Rebekah always made fun of me singing.

"What!" I yelled running out of the bathroom with a look of confusion on her face.

"You were in the shower?" She asked confusedly, stepping right in front of me.

"Yeah." I dumbfound. She shook her head and furrowed her eyebrows.

"Then why was there a crash sound and a scream?" She asked.

I closed my eyes, saying the only thing that I could think of. "I was...enjoying myself." I whispered, but she heard me.

I opened my eyes and watched as she processed my words, holding back a laugh as I watched her cringe.

"Ew Caitlin! I did not need to know you fingering yourself in there! Christ!" She yelled, walking out of my room and slamming the door behind her.

I immediately threw the robe off my body and went into the bathroom, seeing Hayley mixing shampoo into a plastic cup like a little kid.

"Look!" She said excitedly standing up to show me the cup. I arched a eyebrow at her making her clear her throat and throw the cup behind her.

"What are you doing here?" I said walking into my room and sitting on my bed.

I watched as she followed me and looked around my room. "Ya know I didn't appreciate waking up yesterday from a nap I didn't want." She grumiply said walking closer to me.

"Well too fucking bad huh?" I said standing up and meeting her halfway.

She shuffled closer to me and once again our chests were touching.

She bit her lip and leaned in just a little bit so our nose were brushing against each other.

"Why are you here?" I whispered leaning in even more. Fuck we are so close right now.

"Caitlin." She whispered leaning in a little bit more.

"Yeah?" I whispered back licking my lips and watching as her gaze dropped to my lips.

"We need to talk." She whispered lifting her hand up and softly rubbing my cheek.

"So talk." I whispered even quieter, moving to place my hand under ear when I paused.

Why?

Because her lips brushed against mine.
