Only when you are ready

After their first date, they became  closer than earlier. Ruyi could develop feelings for him as she loved his sweet tortures. Holding hands with him,being coy around him and his kiss on her cheeks all were beautiful memories to her. But she had not given in yet.

It was another day , in which he came in to her apartment after spending a busy day at Cxhobbit. He had changed in to something comfortable and staring at her with puppy eyes.

" Did you have you dinner?"

She asked feeling something is not right.

He nodded his head in a no.

" Why didn't you tell me earlier?"

She asked worryingly.

" I wanted see , whether you feel it." 

Ruyi glanced at him with a serious look.

"You are an idiot. "

"Let me make something for you. "

She said to him.

It was almost 9.00 p.m. She already had  her dinner. There was nothing left, so she thought to make some egg fried  rice for him. First she put some rice in the rice cooker. Until it is cooked she poured him a glass of cordial and chopped all the veggies, garlic and ginger. Then she placed a pan on the stove.

He tried to start a conversation with her, but she was still mad at him. She didn't give ear to him.

In the meantime he had found another interesting thing to do. He was taking photos of her working  in the kitchen.

Ruyi was busy making his dinner, she didn't know anything. She poured some oil in the pan, then there went garlic and ginger first. After that the chopped veggies. Next an egg and home made chicken cube. The rice was cooked. Then she fried the veggies with the rice and the fried rice was ready to serve.

She placed the pan on the table and a plate.

" Here fill yourself ."

She said sitting opposite to him.
