LET'S DO THIS ONE LAST TIME.
My name is Ivory Moon, my friends and family call me Ivy. Two years ago I was bitten by a radioactive spider on my way home from school, and ever since then I've been the one and only, Silk. Sometimes I go about my day as any normal person does, other times I find myself five centimetres away from death. I'm sure you know the rest.

Being Silk was never my choice. The first few weeks of being all... spider-like, I panicked and ran all the way to see my grandma. It wasn't like old people to accept unnatural things like super-powers, but my Baba has always been an open minded lady, even in her elderly age. I think that's why my heart ached so much after her passing.

That was the breaking point, I realise. I didn't want to just sit around and let criminals get away with petty acts that would cause a far greater ruin, knowing I had the abilities to stop them. So I did. I stopped bank robberies, street crimes, and sometimes even monsters, but further casualties caused by those creatures are handled by the authorities.

With what feels like the weight of the world on my shoulders, I haven't really spent any time for myself. I've been falling behind on my all my studies, dismissed from the piano competition I was supposed to attend (and win), lost my spot as the lead in the ballet routine for nationals, and even forgot my family's weekly game night.
