"Welcome to Jessica Nails, how can I help you?"
A tall skinny man with dreads entered my shop , he wasn't with a woman so he must be booking an appointment in advance for his girlfriend.
"Wassup ma, y'all do the clear shit fa niggas?"
"Yes of course, did you have a preferred tech or you're good with anybody?"
"Idm it's my first time in hea"
"Okay no problem, I'll grab the polish and you can sit in this first chair"
"Ight thanks"
A male who gets their nails did is a male I like.
But let me slow my roll, he could be seeing somebody.
After I get the polish for him, I sit across for him and analyze his hands.
"You have some nice tattoos" I smiled.
"Thanks ma" he smiled back.
I flipped his hands over looking at his palms.
As I began painting his nails, we started to have some conversation.
"Dis yo shit?"
"Yea I been owning the place since I was 23, I couldn't work in a nail shop anymore. I wanted to have my own"
"That's wassup lil folks, if you don't mind me asking... how old you is?"
"I just turned 26"
"That's cool, I'm 26 too. What's yo sign?"
"Gemini.."
"Awe hell naw" he laughed catching me off guard.
His Diamond grills shined as he talked and he was a very charming and handsome guy.
"What's wrong with Geminis?"
"Y'all crazy as a mf ma and y'all mean as fuck"
"That's not true! I'm very sweet"
"Nah I gotta see that for myself"
Was he flirting with me?
I've been single for 5 years, so a man hitting on me wasn't shocking.
However, it's the first time one would inside my shop.
"You can, im down. You can go to the drying station"
