"Finish the ritual."
Macaque ordered, Tang gulped before a golden cicada appeared on the map, flying away.

"Alright! you win."

I struggled beneath Macaques claws as a chime rang throughout the ritual grounds, a beam of light was shot into the sky as the ritual was pushed on.

"E-Eugh-!!"
I grunted as my antennas continued to react rather negatively to the burst of power surrounding us.

Soon my grunts turned to pure cries as the power of the fire got stronger,
"Stop! Stop! Stop! STOP!!"

I desperately yet weakly punched Macaque as he remained focused on the ritual, he gave me a short look before grabbing me by the hair and threw me towards the outskirts of the ring.

"Augh-!! Ugh-!! Ngh!...ow..."

"No! Please, I-I wanna get off this ride!"
I heard Mei cry out, I looked up just in time to see the rings glow brighter then before, but suddenly...

"STOP!"

Time seemed to slow down as Monkey King appeared, reaching for Mei...

But he was too late...

Suddenly we were all blown back by a wave of pure, concentrated, fire magic,
It's heat easily melting the ice right off of Macaques body, and making me burst out in tears.

"It worked!"
Macaque exclaimed happily, finally relived to be free of his frozen shackles.

"I'm to late..."
TMK said as my eyes widen to the sight of Mei completely engulfed in raging flames,
Her cries shrill and painful as waves of power slammed the ritual grounds.

"M-Mei!!"
I cried as my ears rang like bells, hot tears dripping off my chin uncontrollably as I clawed my way over.

"What? Mei?! What's happening?! Don't worry, I'm coming for ya! Someone get some water. Stop, drop, and roll, Mei!"
MK attempted to leap for Mei but he's tackled to the ground by his mentor.

"Mere water cannot extinguish the Samadhi Fire. Nothing can. The fire will destroy this girl and burn everything in its path."
Nezha said bluntly and simply as he freed Pigsy and Sandy from the ice that trapped them.

"What!?"
Mei roared as her power continued to rage.

"Yea what!?"
MK repeated.

I tried to get up, but as another wave came my way an inhuman, demonic yelp came from my lips as I crumbled once again, my antennae's now pinned to my head as Yuku clung to my back.

Spitfire had to drive off because of how hot the ritual grounds were growing.

Sandy and Pigsy looked my way,
"Kid!"
"Sen!"

I opened my eyes painfully and see Sun staring at me through the flames, wide and mixed with fear and anger, then he turned towards Macaque, his anger taking hold.
