"So when're you finally going to read those notebooks?" Ayla asked Whittaker excitedly. "Today, when nobody's awake to see me read them. Like Mr. Solon said, we don't want any secrets to slip," she said. "Why can't the rest of us read them?" asked Darius. "Whittie's the one with questions," said Celena. "Yeah." said Whittaker. "And besides, after I read them, I'll tell you guys all about what I read. Someday soon, I promise that I will." "What are the notebooks called again?" asked Ayla. "Well," Whittaker whispered, "The first one I picked up was Notebook Four by Oliver Aang. But the others, there's Notebook One by Soleil Corliss, Notebook Two by Paloma Humphrey- she was the only girl in the Accord! The group was called The Eclipse's Accord, just like their books. It's because an eclipse is basically when the sun or moon pass over each other and partially block or overlap one another, which results in-" "NERD ALERT!" screamed Darius. "Shut up and let me continue," said Whittaker, irritated. "...Which typically results in what looks like a combination of the moon and the sun alongside each other before they block each other for a brief moment," "May I see the cover of the notebooks again?" asked Ayla. "Once I'm finished, I haven't even explained the last book that YOU asked about." "Sorry," said Ayla. "And finally there's Notebook Three and Four. Four was written by Oliver, and Three was written by a guy named Damario Abe." "Are you sure it's Da-mare-ee-oh- and not Da-mar-ee-oh?" asked Darius. "Yes, I'm sure. I think. I just personally think it sounds better," said Whittaker. "Cool, are we finished?" asked Ayla. Whittaker gave a small smile and sighed as she looked over to her younger female friend. "Yes, Ayla. But you can only have a peek," Whittaker quickly pulled Notebook Four out of her bag and pointed to it. "See, an eclipse!" she whisper-shouted. "Now that's so cool looking!" said Ayla. They then got lost in chatter of other things, and they happily walked home, abuzz with talk. Once sunrise came and she was sure everyone was asleep, Whittaker pulled out her backpack. She carefully pulled out the four notebooks, and quietly tiptoed to a spot where she could sit by a ray of sunlight. To read, of course. She pulled out Book Four, the one she'd found first. She once again carefully caressed the spine and let her fingers feel every detail engraved in the leather cover. She took a deep breath in, and carefully opened the notebook and began to read to herself. First entry; By Oliver Aang
