You were so close to falling asleep when the door to your room creaks open slowly and Glimmer walks in.
"Y/N, you awake?" You hear her whisper to you.
"Yes." You respond, it comes out as more of a groan due to your tiredness.
"Great, I have so much to tell you." She exclaims and comes over to sit with you on your bed.
The bed bounces underneath you and Glimmer takes her hood off and looks at you with an excited face.
"So when I was putting the light bands on the new guy I saw a glimpse of his face. He's kinda cute."
Ok. Now you're awake.
"What did he look like?"
"Well he had a nice sharp jawline and I couldn't really see his eyes but it looks like he has silver hair."
"Wow you're lucky."
"Nah, you are. You're his age. You should totally get to know him."
"I could try. He seems nice. And he came from the Lost Cities so he could be a way out of this hellhole."
"I guess. Would you still take me with you?"
"Of course, I wouldn't leave you here."
You hear a sharper knock on the door and Gisela's annoyed voice tells you two to go to bed.
"I'll talk to him tomorrow, ok." You tell Glimmer
"I want to hear all about it."
