Chapter 10

Just before Alex can smash his head into the window again, he hears a voice.

"Alex love?"

"Ma?"

Alex slips on a random jacket sitting in the back seat. I'm not bothered enough to zip it up, though. He glances back at his Ma.

"Are you alright? Your Pop and Mum told me what happened already! Why us your nose bleeimg?!"

"Th..this..."

"Are you that turned on by Issac pheromones ~?"

Alex glances up at his Ma with teary eyes.

"Oh, love."

"Ma... I triggered his first heat."

"First heat? Issac is almost 18, right? He should have had his heat around 12 and 16." Ma thinks for a moment and opens the back seat car door. She leans down and speaks to Alex.

" It's possible he's a bit of a late bloomer. It's not like he's 32 or something. Mm. First heat...wait."

Alex blurts out something, anything,
"W- we didn't do anything other than kiss!"

"Oh."

Alex face is red.

"Um. I was not going to ask that, but okay."

"Th- then?"

"Im sure it's okay for now, but your pheromones are speaking a lot. "

"Do I?"

"You do. You smell like him a lot. "

"That's..." Alex twitches, glancing at the car window again.

"Mm?"
"N-no...nothing."

"Ah. Alex, love. You shouldn't blame yourself for what happened. I'm marching right up to the school after everything has calmed down! How dare ANYONE bully my baby boy."

"M-ma..." Alex lips slowly stretch into a subtle smile. The size of his tears growing larger.

"N-no one tried to bully me..."

"Weh?"

"I was just nearby when an Omega was trying to fight..."

"Still a valid reason to go to the principal office! That Omega..!" Ma growls and gets into the backseat with Alex. She closes the door and smiles.

"But enough about that ! My love needs to be comforted right now! So tell me lovely."

"Ma...I... I ..."

"You can't blame yourself that happens naturally to every Omega. Your pheromones may have been the ones who triggered, but if not you, it would have been someone else. Or accorded on its own lovely. Please don't blame yourself for Issac current state."

Alex wants to tell Ma all that he has done to Issac. That the guilt he's feeling is not just from releasing his pheromones on that roof and kissing Issac in that moment.

Alex has been weak since the first day he met Omega. And though things were smooth out for a while, Alex felt he planted those seeds into Issac.

Ma stares at Alex thoughtful face. Her eyes soften as she lightly puts a hand on her son shoulder.

"Alex. Issac..." Ma pauses ,unsure, "Issac may like you romantically. "

Alex eyes go wide, but he doesn't look at his Ma.

"It's possible ,not saying Issac likes you 100%. And it may just be the pheromones, but... I think Issac likes you to some extent..." Ma trails off.

Alex frowns and glances at his Ma, "Y... You're telling me to be careful."
