"Have you got everything prepared for next season" Hyewon asked in the office.
"Yes president Kang, Hyundai has signed off the Powertrain supplier contract and Juri Vips and Tony Ross has put his pen on paper to join us for the upcoming season. All we need now is another driver and we are all set to go for the season opener next season" Jost Capito responded.
As one Formula E season comes to an end, teams are preparing the start of the next Formula E season which was exactly what ex IZ*ONE member Kang Hyewon was doing.
Following the disbandment of IZ*ONE, Kang Hyewon has decided to invest in motorsport, and has partnered up with Korean car manufacture Hyundai to enter season 10 of Formula E as Coral E Racing. They have everything in place, Hyundai as their engine supplier, Spark Racing Technology's Gen 3 Formula E car as their chassis, ex Williams Racing team principal Jost Capito as their team principal, recently brought in ex Mercedes Formula E Team engineer Tony Ross as their technical director and ex Hitech Formula 2 driver Juri Vips has just signed a contract to race for the South Korean outfit for the upcoming Formula E season. It was all in place to reveal to the world Coral E Racing.
"So have you got a shortlist of another potential driver we can have?" Hyewon asked the staff who were in charge.
"I think if we want to maximise the potential of our car, the best option we have is Y/N. He brought Maserati into a title fight on their first season, if he can maintain that level we might have a chance to win the championship on our rookie season" Tony Ross suggested.
"Y/N, I know him" Hyewon jumped in as soon as he heard the name.
Of course Hyewon knew who you were. Everyone who has been in the Korean entertainment industry knew who you were. You were the boyfriend of Chou Tzuyu, the boyfriend of the most popular idol in the industry. With a title like that, it was very difficult for anyone who is involved or interested in Korean entertainment and K-Pop to not know who you were.
"Oh that god you do, nobody managed to contact him after the London ePrix last season, not even Maserati. Can you handle the negotiations then please?" Jost Capito asked.
"I'll try to handle it" Hyewon responded.
Despite Hyewon saying she knows you, she doesn't actually know you personally. She does know Tzuyu though and that was where she is going to start off with the negotiations of getting you onboard onto her new Formula E team.
With that, Hyewon picked up her phone and immediately message Tzuyu on Instagram. This is not going to be easy since the two haven't talked for a long time.

It wasn't easy sending a message to an idol that Hyewon hasn't been in contact with for a long time, in fact ever since IZ*ONE disbanded, she barely talks to anyone within the industry which is going to make this even more awkward than it already is.
Meanwhile in the Twice dorm
Tzuyu was in her room, doing nothing. You weren't here to be with her as you were back in Tainan recharging yourself after the championship battle you had. Suddenly, Tzuyu's phone buzzed as it was an Instagram notification. She thought it was from a fan but as she looked at the notification, she wasn't so sure why this person is messaging her.
Kang Hyewon from IZ*ONE. She didn't know why she would be messaging her but she was more interested in what and why she would like to talk to her about something. With that, Tzuyu responded to the message and set up a girls only date with Hyewon. Curious to find out what is was all about.

The Next Day
Hyewon arrived at Cafe de Paris first, she was a bit nervous. She hasn't spoken to Tzuyu for a very long time, she doesn't even speak to Tzuyu that often when she was still an idol. But she had to do it, this is for the best for Coral E Racing, it was for her success. Plus, it's simply just business.
Few minutes later, Tzuyu arrived and sat down at the table with Hyewon. Both girls were awkward and unsure what would happen as the last time they both talked face to face was during the MGMA in 2019, four years ago.
"How are you Hyewon?" Tzuyu asked as she sat down awkwardly.
"Not bad, just doing some other stuff outside the industry" Hyewon replied shyly.
"Anyways, you said there was something you wanted to talk to me about?" Tzuyu asked curiously.
"Yeah it's about Y/N" Hyewon answered catching Tzuyu off guard "but I'm bringing this team into Formula E next season, and the directors running the team suggested that we bring Y/N in to the team so I just want you to ask him about his opinions and maybe help me get him onboard?" Hyewon continued to ask.
This really caught Tzuyu off guard. She never interferes with your career decisions, just like you never interfered with hers. You both respected what each other do and will always support each other no matter what happens. For the first time ever, Tzuyu was now asked to persuade you to make a career decision. She wasn't very sure about this at all.
"I don't really care about what he does with his career, I think you are better off talking to him directly" Tzuyu responded.
"That's the problem, nobody knows where he is and his agent did not respond to any of our emails, which is why I'm here asking you. And just so you know, the team is based in South Korea so if we get him onboard it also benefits you cause you'll see him in town all the time" Hyewon explained further and trying to get Tzuyu onboard with this which worked a little bit
"He never had an agent, all the emails goes directly to him. And he's currently switched off everything which is why you can't respond to him. But I mean I could certainly put in a word for you and try" Tzuyu reluctantly accepted to help.
"Thank you very much Chou Tzuyu, you are the best" Hyewon thanked Tzuyu for her help.
After that, the two girls sat in the cafe to enjoy their drink as they chatted a little bit about their current life and how Hyewon got on post idol life.
