Danielle's POV

We're currently at Miniso, I'm admiring their cute and fluffy stuffs. I spotted a cat headband and immediately thought of Haerin. She reminds me of a cat and I knew it would look great on her.

She looked so cute sitting on the bench, waiting for me while the other girls went to different stores. I tried not to make it obvious that I was looking at her, but she caught me so I quickly looked away and pretended to be interested in something else.

What's happening to me?

I decided to buy the cat headband for her and a dog headband for myself. I put them in my bag, planning to give it to her later.

" Do you want some ice cream?" She asked while pointing at the ice cream store. That looks delicious tbh

We walked over to the store and I was amazed by all the flavors they had. We both got our favorite flavors and sat down to enjoy our treats.

"You have something here" I said referring to the ice cream at the corner of her lips. I was about to wipe it when she did it herself. That was awkward again. I just did an awkward laugh. Lol

It's like we're on a date right now, a friendly date. Yeah

Where are the girls, it's getting awkward as time passed by. Me and her are really not meant into a same place alone

I want to talk about nonsense topics but she might find me weird.

" are you in a relationship with Harua?"

I froze in my position, I never thought that she would ask me that kind of question. I should be honest right?

But why does she care?

" Not anymore"

" Why did you asked?" I added

" Nothing, I'm just curious" oh she's just curious, Danielle. Stop assuming things,

What am I suppose to assume? There's nothing to assume

" Let's go to the ice skating" she muttered happily. I don't know how to skate huhu but I have no choice but to go with her

" But I don't know how"

" Don't worry, I got you" she said and grabbed my hand until we reach the ice skating field

They handed us a pair of ice skates, I'm having a hard time untying my shoes and she noticed how I struggled.

then after a while she kneeled in front of me and untied it. I don't know that there is a sweet side of her

I was about to loose my sanity, Kang Haerin .

" Here you go"

" Thank you"

As I looked at her, I couldn't stop from admiring how graceful she was on the ice. She spun and twirled effortlessly, her hair flying behind her like a stream of gold.

She held me tightly because it's obvious that I'm having a hard time to balance. Her hands are cold and soft, it weakens me more. She slowly teach me how to balance and do some tricks. She also showed me some of her tricks and it left me shocked, she's too good at this

"Wow, you're really good at this," I said, still a little breathless from trying to keep up with her.

"Thanks! I've been skating since I was a kid. It's one of my favorite things to do." She beamed at me, her cheeks rosy from the cold.

"Hey, don't look so down," she said, noticing my expression.

"It takes time to learn. I can teach you some more if you want."

I nodded eagerly, grateful for the opportunity to spend more time learning this new skill. She guided me through the next few steps, I could feel a sense of warmth and comfort around her. I couldn't believe that just a few minutes ago, we were feeling awkward and unsure around each other. Now, here we were, laughing and having fun on the ice.

The cool air whipped past my face, and my heart was pounding with exhilaration. Haerin was laughing beside me, her eyes shining with joy. I couldn't believe how much fun we were having now.

I'm starting to feel at ease when I'm with her

Yeah obviously, Danielle because she's your friend.

Then out of nowhere, two ladies accidentally hit me at my head with their hands. The girls didn't even stop to see if I was okay, they just laughed and skated away. If I was good at skating I'll chase them.

I could feel my anger rising as I watched them disappear into the crowd. Haerin seemed to feel the same way, her face twisted with anger. She was about to chase them when I grabbed her arms

"Let me go" she said, trying to break free from my grip.

" It's dangerous, there's a lot of people. You might get hurt too"

Oh, I'm concern

" I'll be slow okay? Stay there" she said

I left with no choice but to stay here and hold the metal railings.

After what felt like an eternity, Haerin returned, her face flushed with anger. She had caught up to the girls and made them apologize to me.

"Say sorry to her" she commanded the girls, her voice firm and unwavering.

" Sorry"

"S-sorry" they apologizes and bowed slightly in my direction.

" It's okay" I said and they went back to the field.

" You don't have to go after them" I didn't realized that I'm now holding both of her hands, she looked at it and back to me

" They should learn their lessons"

" But what if you got hurt too" I said, my concerning voice is noticeable. I'm not faking anything right now

Everything is genuine, I do care for her

" They didn't apologize right away .....

And I hate seeing you getting hurt" her voice is filled with emotions. It send shiver down to my spine.

She cares for me too?

Don't make me feel special

Or I'll end up assuming something about your acts.
