Dancing

Y/n's Pov

As the music started playing, we danced. He swayed me from place to place, I was having some trouble of course, but he helped me out. He'd let out a giggle every time I messed up, but then he'd help me out by guiding me or telling me what to do
"There you go darling, ya la estas haciendo" Wally said as his movements got smoother

"Heh, thanks" I said as I kept dancing, swaying away with him
It was actually quite fun, we giggled and danced until finally, the song was over
"You're not so bad newbie, you did good" he said, praising me
"Nah man, give yourself some credit" I said as a punched his arm playfully
"No I know I did good, I am the towns best bailarin after all" he said as he chuckled

I laughed slightly "I can tell, you did good. I don't think I've ever seen anyone dance this well"
"I'm glad to hear that, Y/n was it?" He asked
I nodded, "yup, that's me"
"Yeah, see I knew I remembered" he said as he looked at the stars, "why did you walk off without saying a word earlier though?"
I froze up
Crap...he noticed

"Ah well umm- see, I thought that um- well you and my sister were talking, I didn't just want to stand there. Besides, y'all looked like you had fun talking" I said, making an excuse
He looked a bit skeptical
"Mkay, if you say so" Wally said with a shrug

After a while of talking, someone came out of la pension
"Hey Y/n, we'll be leaving soon-" I heard my brother say before looking at Wally and then at me
"You already have a boyfriend?!" Mateo said in shock
"What!? No-!" Before I could explain myself, he interrupted me
"Elena! Y/n has a boyfriend!" He said as he went back inside

"Oh God kill me..." I said as I covered my face in embarrassment
Wally giggled, "I don't think you should be embarrassed Muñeca/o, after all it is just me" he said with a wink
I groaned, "no you don't understand, I-"

As I looked up, I saw that it was Elena
"Oh my god I didn't believe Mateo at first, so you do have a boyfriend! And it's Wally?!" She said
"Elena no! He's not my boyfriend! I swear!" I said, raising my voice a little
She then looked at Wally
"Is it true?"
"I don't know, is it?" He said in a teasing tone of voice
"Wally!" I yelled slightly
"I'm just messing with you, no Elena, they are not my partner" he said

Elena looked at me and then at him, "alright, well Y/n, everyone is waiting for you to say bye" she said as she went inside
I sighed, then punched his arm hard
"Ow! Ay caray- that hurt, you have a nice punch though" he said in a joking manner
"What were you thinking! I could've gotten off the hook easy, but no!" I sighed in frustration

"Chill it was joke" he said, rubbing his arm
"Whatever," I said and got up
He got up as soon as I got up, "well, I guess I'll see you around then?" He said as he offered me his hand again
I gave him my hand, but before he could kiss it, I pushed his face with my other hand and instead shook his hand

"Yup, see you around vaquero" I said with a slight chuckle at the end
He blinked but then smiled, "alright, have a good rest of your night, beautiful/handsome" he said as he tipped his hat and left
I just laughed and went back in la pension, I guess Elena was right cuz people were waiting for me to say bye

As soon as I said goodbye to everyone, I went in the back of the car, relieved that I was going back home
Soon Elena also got in, and took a sigh of relief, "oh my god Y/n you had me worried there! I thought you and him were actually a thing" she said
"Girl I wouldn't do that, besides, I'm not into the guys with cowboy hats" I said as I giggled

My brother and dad eventually got in the car, and we drived home
It was quiet for a bit until my dumbass brother broke the silence
"Dad, wanna know something?" Mateo said
"Sure, what's up kiddo?" My dad said as he took a sip of water
"Y/n already has a boyfriend"
As soon as he said that, my that coughed out his water

"No dad it's not like that! I don't have a boyfriend I swear!" I said as I was trying to calm down my dad
I glared at Mateo
"Heck, yeah you do, who knows what you could've been doing while we were inside la pension. For all we know you could've-"
"Mateo, shut up" my dad said in a serious tone
"papá I swear that I don't have a boyfriend, I wouldn't, I-" I said but again, got interrupted
"Y/n, not now...let's talk about it tomorrow" he said as he stayed focused on the road

I sighed in frustration as I glared at my brother
Mateo wanted to laugh, but decided to hold it in since he could tell that dad was pissed
I was pissed
As soon as we got home, I waited for my dad to go in first since I wanted to have a word with my brother

As Mateo was about to get in the house after my dad, I yanked him by the shirt and punched him
"Y/n!" My sister exclaimed as I punched Mateo
"You little shit-" he said as he was going to hit back
I grabbed his arm
"No, why the FUCK would you tell my dad that I have a boyfriend when I clearly said I don't!?" I said, angry

"Oh come on, it was funny!" He said
"Well to dad, and me, it wasn't. Especially since he was driving, what if we got into an accident because of your stupid 'joke'" I said
"Whatever, you need to learn to take a joke" he said as he got up and left
"I swear I'm gonna kill him-" I said before my sister grabbed my arm
"No you won't, you've had enough for one night Y/n. Calm your ass down and go to bed" she said as she let go of my arm

"Fine..." I said as I went inside and straight into my room
I threw myself in my bed and groaned

"I don't think I'll survive in this town, mom"
