A Demonic Era

Chapter One: Awakened

Tanjiro POV:
I had just finished with the coal and was walking up the mountain. I finally am home. It took shorter then I thought. I saw Nezuko and Rokuta playing together at the front door outside.
Tanjiro: "Nezuko! Rokuta!"
Nezuko: "Hey Tanjiro! Me and Rokuta were just playing!"
Sheiguru: "Tanjiro! Your back!"
Hanako: "Tanjiroooooo!"
Takeo: "Tanjiro!"
I ran over to my siblings and hugged them.
Tanjiro: "See? I told you I'd be right back!"
Nezuko: "I've been trying to tell them that! They sure are impatient!"
I heard Nezuko's comment and laughed.
Tanjiro: "They sure are!"
Sheiguru: "Hey! We are not impatient!"
Hanako: "Yeah!"
Takeo: "We are a little impatient..."
Kie: "Alright you seven! Back inside!"
Hanako: "Mama! Can we stay out longer! I wanna see the sunset!"
Kie: "Fine. But dinner will be cold when you come in.."
Hanako: "Wait I want dinner!"
My siblings along with Nezuko and I rushed in to eat. After we ate and played for a bit. It was time for bed but then I get a unsettling scent coming close to the house.
Tanjiro: "Um.. mom..."
Kie: "Yes Tanjiro?"
Tanjiro: "I smell something.."
Kie: "What do you smell?"
Tanjiro: "A non human scent.. but it's not an animal.."
Kie: "I don't think that's the case. Don't scare your siblings."
Hanako: "Mama what if he isn't lying?"
Kie: "I assure you it'll be fine."
Nezuko: "Hanako if your scared you can sleep next to me in my futon?"
Hanako went over to Nezuko's futon and lies down with Nezuko.
Nezuko: "Better?"
Hanako: "Thank you nee-san.."
Tanjiro: "I can fit only one of you in mine so who?"
Takeo: "Sheiguru can."
Tanjiro: "Rokuta why don't you sleep with mom?"
Rokuta went over to our mother and snuggles next to her. (Can Rokuta talk??)
I smelled to see if the scent was gone but it was only getting stronger. I started to sweat a little. Sheiguru had came next to me amd slept next to me as I lied away staring at the ceiling but I reluctantly fall asleep since everyone else was sleeping.
[The Next Day/Night]
Nezuko POV:
I wake up and there's blood everywhere. As soon as I woke up so did the others.
Hanako: "My head hurts.. what happened?"
Nezuko: "I'm not sure..."
Tanjiro: "There's the scent from last night.. Why do we all look different?"
Nezuko: "I dunno.. but I have a sudden hunger for something.."
Sheiguru: "Me too.."
Takeo: "Me as well."
Rokuta: "Me.. three.."
I hear Rokuta speak and I get shocked.
Nezuko: "When could Rokuta talk?!"
Tanjiro: "Wait.. I think we became demons.."
Kie: "Tanjiro. There's no such thing as demons.
???: "Never say never."
That man.. he sounds so menacing..
Muzan: "I am Kibutsuji Muzan. I must have turned you to demons by accident. But the more the merrier. You must never speak of me to any humans."
We all bow and nod as he leaves.
Nezuko: "We better find something to eat before this hunger drives me crazy."
A slayer came to our house and our hunger grew stronger and we all teamed up on it and killed it.
Nezuko: "I call his head."
Hanako: "Legs! Me!"
Sheiguru: "Me and Takeo will split his chest and stomach!"
Tanjiro: "I'll share the arms with mom."
We all ate. Somehow.. it tasted good...
Nezuko: "Why does this taste so good?! Dang!"
Hanako: "I've never thought me as a human tasted so delicious! Yummy!"
Tanjiro: "This gore looks so satisfying..."
Takeo: "Nezuko can I try some of the head?"
I give a piece of the head to my brother and he eats it.
Rokuta: "More..."
Kie: "Let us finish our meal.. then we can get more."
Kagaya POV:
A Hashira defeated? This is what I have to say at our Hashira meeting? What a shame.
Kagaya: "Giyu Tomioka has been defeated."
Sanemi: "WHAT?!"
Muichiro: "Oh..."
Mitsuri: "Oh no! How sad!"
Shinobu: "..."
Rengoku: "What a shame."
Tengen: "How unflamboyant."
Gyomei: "Poor soul."
Obanai: "Who defeated him? Which upper rank?"
Kagaya: "Not sure Obanai. Probably more then one demon.."
[Explanation to Giyu's death and how it happened]
Basically Giyu had came to find the demon that tried to kill the Kamado family but found them as demons. Giyu may be strong but he was out numbered. Seven demons up against him. That doesn't sound very easy doesn't it? Basically Giyu was missing a lot of shots due to Tanjiro's advanced sense of smell and his strong forehead and counting six more against him. Tanjiro could sense Giyu's attacks and warn his family. That made Giyu outmatched as well. Then they managed to kill him. Please don't hate me for killing him 😭🙏
