The ones that stayed

The ones that didn't

The ones who loved

As you dream

In this dismal night

Try and think

Of the path to light

For in this dark world

Thins get hard

Times get trying

Hearts get scared

We know in the end

That we all shall die

But remember this

All the pain

Was a piece of the pie

For without salt the flavour of sugar could never be brought forth

Without the myrrh of friendship

There would be no dispair

When we say goodbye

We know that people can truly care

I'm glad we're friends

But remember your enemies

They helped you get this far

Made problems for remedies

So when you can't sleep

Can't dream

As can't think

Of anything else than random thoughts

Take into account all you've done

All you want to do

And how far you'll run

For we run this race of life together

For alone

We are weak and fragile

Together we are strong and agile
