"𝐇𝐄𝐘, you and your family are a freak show!" a young blonde girl yelled at Iris, shoving Iris to the ground. She fell to the ground with a thud. Iris's lip quivered as her eyes watered, a familiar curly headed boy came running toward the scene.
"Don't ever touch my girl again!" he yelled before helping the brown curly haired girl up. The blonde girl muttered something before running away, crying. Jeremiah had grabbed Iris's hand and dragged her away from the scene. Before guiding her to the park bench, he sat next to her examining her.
The younger girl sniffled, wiping her eyes before looking at him. "Hey don't listen to that idiot...she's just j-jealous" a young Jeremiah stated.
"j-jealous?" the young raven girl quipped, eyes wide. "Of what...?" She continued, the blonde boy face lit up.
"Of you...you're beautiful." the boy flashed a toothy grin, the younger Conklin girl smiled and placed a kiss on his cheek.
On her first visit to cousins on that playground was the day she fell in love with Jeremiah fisher.

𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒 had been excited to go to cousins this year, due to the fact she missed cousins or a special someone.
Going to cousins was a staple in the Conklin household. She had gone since she was 5.
Iris had been with laurel and her family since she was 5 years old. Due to the fact her birth parents, Jolie Park and my father Tyrell Campbell had been in a tragic car accident.
She doesn't remember much from the situation because she was a child. As soon as it happened, she was taken in by Laurel. In which she will always be grateful about.
At 7, she was adopted by laurel and officially was apart of the Conklins. It took a while to get used to but she was welcomed into the family with open arms.
As she grew older in this family, iris felt like an addition to the Conklin household. Even getting comfortable enough to considered another kid in the family.
This place always made her feel connected with her family, it will always hold a special place in her heart.
Like Jeremiah has a place in her heart.
