After a long day filled with fighting in the pool, riding the water slides , and sneaking sips of alcoholic Beverages . Me and Alex are officially and unstoppable duo . He's the Crash to my Eddie .
I'm honestly excited to see him more in the future . While packing up my things it made me realize just how much my life is going to be changing since we're moving to LA. No more small town , everyone knows each-other and our business. Now it's a big. city with the smell of gas and sewer water , along with crazy crackheads running the streets.
I'm excited for this new environment though . I've already got a head start at my social life since I met Alex and Elena.
" You ready Mija?" My mom asked as she set her suitcase by the door .
I closed the final pocket of my suitcase and nodded as a response to my mom . I grabbed my suitcase and put it next to hers .
" Let's go boys" Mami signaled to the boys to grab the suitcases.
We all moved ourselves to the hallway and mom locked the room .
We went downstairs and we went our separate ways . The boys going to the car and me sticking with mami to check out . I noticed Penelope in line to check out alone . I looked around the room in hopes to find my new Cuban Bestie .
With my awesome eyesight I found him sitting by himself on one of the couches. Me being an amazing friend decided to give him some company .
" Hey loner " I greeted as I sat next to him
" Hey" he looked over at me with a sad smile
" Why so sad " I asked
"Nothing, it's kinda dumb" he tried to brush off but I'm chismosa so...
I scooted closer to him until our shoulders were touching
" dimeeee, what's going on with my crash " I put my head on his shoulder
" I hate that nickname" he mumbled, silently laughing
" You love it "I remarked " don't change the subject though , what's wrong"
" You know , me and my family don't do vacations . But this one though,will forever top all the future ones , because I met someone that I want to keep in my life , wether it's as a friend or maybe even end up in a relationship. Their hard to read sometimes. What I'm trying to say is , I'm scared their going to forget about me
As if I'm some summer fling ."
" Alex?" I called out
" hm?"
" Where am I right now?" I asked him removing myself from his shoulders and moving my body to look towards him
" In a hotel " he responded looking at me .
" siting next to who?"
" Me "
" Exactly! With me having daddy issues, you are now stuck with me! Until the day you either piss me off , betray me , or till either one of us dies . Because señor, I have attachment issues ." I consoled the teen
" You my guy have attachment issues as well " I giggles as I hugged his shoulders , bringing him down to my level.
" You got daddy issues too huh?" I whispered in his ear
" Get off of me weirdo " Alex bursted out laughing
" You do!" I gasped
He simply rolled his eyes , his laughing slowly going away.
" You know , your right . I completely forgot we are gonna see each other more often . We literally live in the same building " he said as he snapped out of his mood . " Maria , I have no idea what your doing to me " he looked at me smiling
