Currently I'm sitting high on tree branch, watching my best friend and waiting when he's gonna jump from his hiding spot and chase after the antelope, who's minding his own business.

Diego isn't doing very well with hunting, because whanever he run too long, he gets dizzy and tired. So here I am, trying to figure out how to help him. The only I can do for now is cheer for him and help him train.

Finally I hear him roar as he jumped from his hiding spot in high dried grass and at the antelope, though he dodged and ran away from Diego, the saber running after him.

"Yohoo! Go bestie! You got him! You got him! I believe in you!" From my spot I see them coming my way and start cheering for Diego when they pass me, but soon my voice quieten when Diego begin slow down. "Maybe I don't."

The antelope ran away, leaving Diego to drag himself after him, panting for air. Sigh escapes me and I climb down the tree, running to catch up with him and sho away the antelope making fun of Diego, again.

"My hooves are burning, baby! They're burning!" He jumpes over and around panting for air Diego. "Oh, look at this! I got to tip-toe! I got to tip-toe! Eat my dust, Diego!" He continues taunting my best friend, kicking dust into his face before running off.

Shaking my head, I stop beside the tiger and pat his shoulder with sympathy. "You're getting old, buddy." He glare at me for saying this, no longer dizzy and catching his breath.

"I do not." He turn his back to me and began walking back the way he ran from, dark clouds looming over his emotions and making me worried and confused.

He's been acting very distant lately. Like, yeah, we hang out with each other almost every day but every time we does, I see on his face something is on his mind. And I wonder what.

His grumpy mood either way won't keep me away. Running after him again, I stay walking by his side, glancing at him every now and then. Once again he's lost in his own world, so I decide to try and get something from him.

"Oh, come on, Diego. Cheer up little. Throw away that grumpy tiger and start living. Enjoy your life!" He still ignored me as it seems so, so I block his path by jumping in front of him and grabbed his face in my smaller hands, squeezing it. "And don't you dare ignore me. I'm burden in your butt, you never getting rid of me."

His green eyes borred into mine brown ones, before he shook his head and walked past me. Alright, something is definitely going on. And I don't like it.

Running back, I jump at his back and look at his face upside down. "Come on, Diego. What's gotten into you? Did I do something? Am I too annoying? You don't want to be friends anymore?!" My voice started turning panicked, hoping nothing of my worries are true.

"No, it's not you, Rose. It's just, it's not like before." Oh, the mighty, grumpy tiger has spoken. Finally. Diego stopped walking and I jump down to face him, watching him sigh.

"I mean, yeah, it's great Manny and Ellie are having a baby, I'm happy for them. And it's great to have my friends around me, you guys are amazing." My curious face turned blank when he started rambling, rolling my eyes.

"Get to the point, Diego. Spit it out." Once again he sighed, his expression bothered.

"But I'm not type to play with kids. It's not me. And I miss the old times when we were traveling." He stopped rambling and said it more calmly, but the way he's saying it scares me. It's like when you are about to do something and you are saying last words to your closed ones.
