The whole way back to the entrance of cave-tunnel we came here through, me and Buck were explaining our life, how we meet, what it was like before getting separated, what separated us and other stuff, just to keep Sid shut from more questions than he already put. I take it back, it was better when it was calm.

"So basically, if we count the years you were up with us, you two have been together for around 7 years." Sighing I nod.

"Yes, Sid." Chuckle from throat coming from my right enter my ears and I shoot irritated side eye to my, as I came to realize days back, husband.

"And you never tried for babies?!" Sid add, like it's the biggest mistake someone can do. Me and Buck share flustered look, both red in face under our fur. Sid, please shut up.

"Sid, if you don't stop sticking your nose into our private part of life, raptors will chew on you for days." I don't need to turn to know Sid shrank back in fear, causing me to smirk in victory. A hand squeeze my waist warningly to keep myself calm and I do so, grinning innocently up at Buck. Though it quickly disappear as soon as I see the entrance of cave in distance.

"This is it, mammals. Right where you started. This was fun. We could make it a regular thing." On instant I shake my head, wishing for Sid to cause no more trouble involved with dinosaurs, because second time we don't have to find him alive.

"I don't know about that." Ellie agree with me.

"Right. Right! Yes, because of all the moral peril, of course." We come to a stop and turn to my herd, my heart beating rapidly against my rib cage. "Well, the Buck and Rose stops here."

"Wait. What? You're staying here?" Manny switch his attention from Buck to me, betrayal behind his brownish orbs it send my ears back. I want to stay with Buck, so so much, but on the other hand I want to stay with my herd, my new family.

"I,....." Looking at all of them and Buck, my gaze settle on Diego, who gives me supportive smile but I know better, reading in his green eyes disappointment.

Before Sid's trouble, I got mad at Diego for wanting to leave our herd, leave me, and now the situation switched sides, where Diego supports the idea so I can stay with my mate I was separated from for so long. Oh my, I feel so terrible. I'm the worst friend he could ever have.

I opened my mouth to say something, an option that could maybe work for all of us if everyone agreed, however, a hot breath that sent chills down my spine hit my back, and my pupils shrink into tiny dots.

"He's behind me, isn't he?" With Buck we back in front of our herd, facing the dark entrance with bloodshoot eyes staring right back at us, our knives made of HIS teeth pulled out.

"Hello, Rudy." Those bloody eyes move, Rudy's full body ripping the entrance open. He tower over us with his tall and mighty form, and once his terrifying roar pierce through the jungle air into my ears, flashes of that night blink before my eyes like lightning.

No. No! Please! Not again! I don't want to lose my family nor Buck again! I can't!

"Run!" We do as was shouted, barely avoiding Rudy's big-sized jaw with perfectly clasped teeth covered in dirt and blood. He could brush his teeth sometimes.

The Baryonyx inch closer and closer towards us, and even though I shouldn't at all, I feel like coward.

Years ago I used to challenge him, provoke him to have some dangerous action, and now I'm hiding behind Diego's legs like scared little girl I was before being taught what actually means life.

"Over here, you colossal fossil! Looking for something?" My ears turn upwards at Buck's voice getting Rudy's attention to him, and he showes him Rudy's top tooth while I got bottom tooth, the two missing spots above each other creating a hole in his jaw.
