Journey to the escape pod

*We see Lincoln and Sasha make their way out of the crashed ship*

Lincoln: are you sure you know where the escape pod is?

Sasha: I know Lincoln, we just got to get to that mountain, your family will probably be there waiting for you

Lincoln: thanks Mrs Boonchuy Waybright? captain waybright

Sasha: we've gotten to know each other a lot more you don't have to call me those names

Lincoln: are you sure?

Sasha: yeah, I'm fine with it

*We see them as they arrive near a the skeleton of a Karliemont*

Lincoln: whoa, that's a very big animal, it's bigger than a Groveback on Darwin IV

Sasha: I'll say, it's impressive

Lincoln: I wonder what animal this is?

Sasha: well, our civilization has never been on this planet at all, it's completely undiscovered and I don't think we have the time or resources to study the flora and fauna of this world

Lincoln: yeah and it's a shame too, I mean we could learn a lot about this world

Sasha: well who knows maybe scientists might come back here once we get back home

Lincoln: true

*We cut to them as they continue they're trek, they pass a herd of Gorgon whom stare curiously at the humanoid aliens

We see other alien creatures, as we cut to a few hours later as we see Lincoln and Sasha near a campfire as she tends to it Lincoln speaks*

Lincoln: so Sasha, do you have a family back home?

Sasha: oh yeah I do, I have a wife and a son waiting for me.........in fact I went on this five year mission to earn enough credits to save my son

Lincoln: what's wrong with him?

Sasha: he has a fatal illness, and the only way to cure his illness was to get him treatment which is very expensive, that's why I took the job because I would get payed with enough credits

To get him the treatment he needs

Lincoln: the fatal illness is it Pariyah? Because if it is then it makes sense the bacteria is so deadly when you're 5 years old

There's a vaccine for it yet the government only gives it to rich and upper class citizens like my family..........personally I find it disgusting

Sasha: you actually find it disgusting?

Lincoln: well yeah, I'm not a stereotypical guy who believes that it's right, it's not really right at all because many people in lower class usually have a hard life........with the exception of Galactic patrol officers

and well exploratory crews, I believe that if the government cared more about the lower class I feel like the world would be a much better place in my opinion

Sasha: well hopefully maybe you can be the one to change the world for the better if we survive long enough to get to the escape pod

Lincoln: don't worry, we'll get there and we'll be reunited with our families soon
