Man went to work on Monday morning and the team could tell he was in a foul mood. He had opened his eyes on Saturday to find himself on his bedroom floor with a sore head and a splitting headache.

He had been out of it for about an hour and when he had come to his senses a quick look around the house confirmed that the kid had taken off after knocking him out with his own damn lamp.

Man wasn't angry at Noel, on the contrary he could kind of understand how scared he must have been to even consider doing that especially to a special agent. After taking a couple of aspirin he had tried to call Noel but the kid hadn't picked up.

He had spent the rest of the weekend trying to call Noel but he had the feeling that the kid had blocked him. Noel's address was in the report he had previously got from Hunter so he'd even gone round there last night but he still couldn't find the kid. He just wanted to apologize.

"Gunny, will you see Noel today?" Man asked his lead agent.

"no, he called me yesterday and said he can't come anymore" Gunny replied.

"why?"

"said he was moving"

"moving? he never mentioned when I saw him on Saturday?" Man said.

"well, he must have his reasons? I'll try and find out when I talk to him again" Gunny said.

"do you talk to him often?" Man asked.

"not really but he knows where I am if he needs me, why?" Gunny enquired.

"I tried to call him about his job but he didn't pick up, he must have been busy packing or something" Man responded.

Man looked at the time, it was 10.45am on a Monday morning, he decided to go and stakeout the kids apartment block, he was bound to see him at some point during the day.

If Raskorn knew he was leaving work for personal reasons he would go ballistic but then it's not like he did it regularly.

"I'm going out for a bit guys, you keep working on the Winchitathoom case, try to find more on the dude the ex wife was sleeping with" he instructed his team before leaving.

Man drove to Noels complex and parked in the residents parking, he knew Noel didn't drive but he had a clear view of the entrance so he could see if Noel left the building then he settled down to wait.

Noel sat in his apartment looking through a local paper at the job vacancies. He had called Gunny and told him he couldn't work for him anymore as he was moving home and he resented Man for putting him in that position.

He could not be anywhere near that person now after how he had spoken to him and locked him in his bedroom. What had he meant when he asked who are you working for? what the hell was he thinking?

Noel didn't need the hassle, he just wanted to earn enough cash to move to the countryside, maybe he had enough now? Perhaps he could look at some properties in rural Isaan or another possible was the island of Koh Ra because it was only accessible by boat, perhaps he could get a job in the eco lodge or something?

Then again, perhaps it wasn't a good idea to go to an island because if it was difficult to get on, it would be difficult to get off too and if he happened to be discovered, there would be nowhere for him to run, it would be like putting himself in a corner.

Noel looked at the time and it was 3.15pm, he had to go to the convenience store for a few items so he'd better go before the streets got too busy with office workers heading home. He grabbed his white sweater, wallet and keys, there was no point taking his phone because no one would call him.
