A/N POV:
The evening had cast a long shadow over the Choi family, the dim light of the living room barely enough to mask the suffocating atmosphere. Y/N sat frozen, her heart pounding, her mind reeling from the revelation about Taehyung. The truth-his true identity, his monstrous nature-had shattered her world. But as her mind spiraled, one question gnawed at her relentlessly, refusing to let her breathe.
She couldn't bear the weight of her thoughts any longer. The silence was too heavy, the chaos of her emotions suffocating. She needed answers.
"Dad..." her voice was a fragile whisper, yet it cut through the thick tension of the room. "I need to ask you something."
Her father, looking at her with a kind of patient warmth, glanced over. "Hmm? Ask, princess," he replied, his tone tender, but Y/N could feel the uncertainty in his eyes, as if he knew something had shifted in her.
"Did you know about Taehyung's... reality? If yes... then why didn't you tell me?" Y/N's voice wavered, a mixture of confusion, fear, and betrayal mixing with every word. The question hung in the air like a storm waiting to break.
Her father's face twisted into one of shock, the words seeming to choke him. His gaze darted to her, to the place where his own heart was being torn, but before he could even respond, a low, cold voice interrupted them.
"I can answer that, angel."
Y/N's spine stiffened at the sound of that voice, a voice she had once found comfort in-now twisted into something malevolent, a dark specter haunting her every step.
She didn't have to turn to know who it was. Taehyung. Or Trevor. The man who had once been a comforting presence in her life now felt like a monster, something far worse than the nightmares that plagued her.
Before she could even react, she heard the sounds of footsteps-too many of them-growing closer. Y/N slowly turned her head, dread pooling in her stomach. There, standing in the doorway, was not just Taehyung, but every member of BTS, their faces hollow, their eyes devoid of the warmth she had once seen in them.
"Surprise, everyone. Surprise," Jungkook's voice sliced through the silence, his smirk like a predator toying with its prey, his eyes cold and calculating.
Y/N's father, his voice stern, tried to keep control. "Y/N, go to your room."
Y/N's feet barely moved, her body stiff, as her mind struggled to process the nightmare unfolding before her. But then, that voice again, more threatening than ever.
"Dare to step out, angel?" Taehyung's words wrapped around her like chains, binding her in place, locking her in his control.
Y/N's heart pounded, torn between her father's command and Taehyung's warning. She didn't know what was worse-disobeying her father or facing the wrath of the monster in front of her.
Her father shouted again, his frustration spilling into the room, a desperate edge to his voice. "Y/N! Go to your room!"
But Y/N couldn't move. Every instinct in her screamed to obey, but the fear in her gut told her that the moment she turned her back, everything would fall apart.
Y/N felt the weight of her father's command, but she couldn't ignore the danger that loomed in front of her. She turned back to her father, but then Taehyung's voice rang out again, dark and commanding.
"Y/N, turn around and come here."
Fear gripped her heart, but there was something more-a sickening realization. Her father's face was pale, his features twisted with concern, but the men holding him in place made it impossible for him to move. Y/N knew, deep down, that if she defied Taehyung, it wouldn't just be her life in danger. Her father's life would hang in the balance.
