"We were never really friends you know that!" Sonic yelled.
"I never wanted to be your friend! You're selfish and you don't care about any of us!" Amy yelled back.
"I feel so sorry for you. All you ever were to me was a fangirl."
Amy was running through a maze, running with her hands over her ears. She fought hard to hold back the tears as she couldn't believe what she was hearing. As she was running, on both sides were images of what appeared to be memories from Sonic and Amy's friendship over the years, and as she ran past them, they were slowly fading away.
Amy came to a stop as Sonic was up ahead with his arms crossed and glared at her.
"You're dead to me." He said, walking up to her and pushing her into a black hole that appeared right behind her. All she could do was scream as Sonic was getting smaller.
----
Amy was tossing and turning throughout the whole night.
"The jewel...I told you not to pick it up..." She whispered.
Meanwhile with Sonic...
Sonic slowly woke up, groaning in pain. As his vision was clearing up, he saw Amy right in front of him with a displeased look. She was holding a remote and as she pressed the button, small clips of their adventures and good times were being displayed on a big screen.
"You're the worst friend I've ever had. I don't know why I stayed for so long." She remarked.
"What are you talking about?" Sonic asked, trying to get up but he looked down and realized he was being held down by handcuffs on his legs and wrists.
"I hate you Sonic the Hedgehog. All of these memories will be erased from your head. Those feelings I've had for you are long gone. Say goodbye to this friendship."
"N-No!" Sonic cried out as he tried to break himself free. Amy was slowly fading away and all he could do was look down to the floor.
----
The next day arrived but instead of the morning being sunny, it was cold and cloudy. The clouds were slowly moving away and there was no trace of the sun. Amy woke up and stretched before getting up to prepare her part for the picnic. An unusual feeling lingered within her but she paid no attention to it as her focus was preparing the snacks.
Amy first freshened herself up and after making sure her usual outfit was set, she made her way to the kitchen. She had decided to make sandwiches of all types. Some would consist of PB&J and others would be almost a BLT style. While Amy was preparing the sandwiches, she remembered yesterday about the incident with Sonic. The thought of him was enough for her to clench her fists and silently growl.
"I can't stand him. He just knows how to ruin everything."
A couple more minutes passed by and she had placed the last few sandwiches inside a basket. She looked at the time and didn't realize that she was already late. The sun was already out and a nice warm breeze was accompanying it. Amy picked up the basket and made her way toward the beach.
At the beach, everyone was already having a good time. Tails and Knuckles were playing volleyball while Blaze and Silver were sunbathing. Rouge and Sonic were sitting at the table, conversing while eating. Amy called out to everyone, waving with a smile. She walked up to the table and placed her basket next to the rest of the food. Rouge greeted her with a hug while Sonic simply stared at her.
Amy looked right back at him and instead of smiling, she frowned. He rolled his eyes and stood up, walking away. Rouge stood up and looked at Amy.
"What was that about?"
