As Sonic ran, he searched for anything that could assist Amy. He kept a lookout while moving forward with the fragment. Although he agreed to make an effort to become friends with her, Sonic was genuinely worried about the consequences if she was no longer with him. He was unsure how her absence would affect him and his friends. Despite his reluctance to admit it, she was important to everyone and, whether he remembered it or not, she was part of the team.

"Come on fragment! Where are you taking me?" Sonic asked. Although he didn't have a problem with running, there simply wasn't enough time. Judging from Amy's appearance, it seemed as though she didn't have the energy to fend off the poison.

Suddenly, the ground started to crack. Sonic initially believed it was an earthquake, but there wasn't much shaking. As the ground continued to crumble, it became increasingly difficult for him to run due to the large gaps. He had to be careful because making a mistake could lead to him falling into unfamiliar territory. As the ground crumbled beneath him, Sonic searched for a way to keep from falling. He spotted a vine hanging from a nearby tree and knew it was his only hope. He made an initial leap but almost lost his footing. On his second attempt, the vine snapped, causing him to growl in frustration. He checked to make sure he still had the fragment. There was one vine left and he knew it was now or never.

"Agh!" He said, grabbing onto the vine as tightly as he could. Sonic breathed a sigh of relief as he saw the ground disappear beneath him. He climbed up a vine until he reached a branch on a tree. Sitting there, he looked around uncertainly, not sure where to go since there seemed to be no path available. As the fragment emitted a bright glow, Sonic pondered if the next clue resided amidst the trees. The previous encounter with a tree had transported both hedgehogs to this peculiar world. Sonic allowed the fragment to make contact with the trunk, but unfortunately, nothing occurred, much to his dismay.

Sonic was filled with desperation and urgency as he stared at the fragment, exclaiming, "Amy's life is at stake and I'll do anything to find a cure! What message are you trying to convey to me?"

As the fragment floated away, Sonic watched it descend into the unknown abyss. He knew what he had to do, but looking down, he saw only darkness. Despite the uncertainty of what lay at the bottom, Sonic had to try and save Amy. He stood up, closed his eyes, and leaped off the branch towards the void below.

As he opened his eyes, darkness still surrounded him. His heart was racing with each passing moment of his fall, wondering what awaited him at the bottom. Sonic squinted as a light came into view, quickly preparing himself for a smooth landing. Unfortunately, he landed on his back, resulting in a groan of pain. He lay there for a moment, waiting for the discomfort to subside. While adjusting his vision, a tiny flying being appeared before him.

"What the...who are you?" Sonic asked, rubbing his eyes to see clearly. In front of him was a creature resembling a chao but with floral characteristics. It had a pink hue and silver petals as wings. Its body was a stem and its arms were two green leaves. It smelled sweet and fruity.

"My name is Flora. Who are you?" Flora asked, softly.

"Hi, I'm Sonic. Can you tell me where we are?" he asked, scanning the surroundings. As he looked around, he couldn't shake the feeling that he had been here before. Suddenly, it hit him - this was the same field of flowers he had seen in his flashback. He stood up and walked around, admiring the beauty of the flowers. There was even more than what he had seen in his flashback. He then turned to Flora and kneeled down to her level.

"This is the field of flowers. It's truly one of a kind and not everyone can find this place." Flora explained.

"When was the last time someone was here?" He wondered.
