Lilianne sat at her computer editing some recordings. She was in the basement where everything she ever recorded was. Her oldest sister, Regina, allowed her to keep them as long as they didn't get in her way.

Lili looked exactly like her twin except Lou wore glasses and Lili had a mole by her eye. She loved how Regina called the twins "the Annes". She was the only one who Lilianne would talk freely with. This was strange because she had a twin, but Louisianne never understood her artistic views. Gina, on the other hand, was always ready to listen.

"You girls finished learning Gina's Rules?" It was Gina's voice on the recorder.

"Yeah I am! Want to hear?"

Lilianne smiled, she was always so excited to please Regina. "Not right now." came the response.

Lili frowned. Gina's voice sounded distant and troubled. The recording was about a year old. What had happened a year ago? Then she remembered. 'Gina's Rules' had just been established, this was the first day of rehearsing.

There was an awkward silence, then young Toni exclaimed, "Why do we have to learn these stupid rules anyhow!?"

"So that you can remember why you must NEVER betray a sister." Gina said in a harsh voice. " Remember what binds us together." she added.

Lilianne stopped the tape and thought. What DID bind them together? Then she recalled the date of the tape. It was a week after, 'the accident.' It was a shocker it wasn't called 'Gina's Accident'. After-all she DID like to be the centre of everything.

Lilianne heard footsteps. She quickly put the tape into the box labelled March 29Th 2010.

"Hey."

It was Seth, Gina's boyfriend. He had long sandy brown hair with blond highlights, natural of course. Droopy brown eyes that were almost always covered by his overgrown bangs and a sun kissed tan.

"Hi." Lili choked on the one syllable word as she stared at the former football god of Winslet High Academy.

"What is all of this?" Seth's Australian accent made him seem so exotic.

"Nothing." Lilianne looked at her feet. He would probably think her habit was dumb and childish.

"Ooh, you record things, don't you mate?"

She nodded.

"So what do you do with them?" Seth began examining some boxes.

"I use clips from some recordings to make a show about my sisters and I's life." Lili blushed. It sounded silly talking about it to someone other than herself.

"Cool how do you do that?" he was standing beside her now.

"I just paint a couple pictures of my sisters and I place the recordings to them." Lili picked up some painting and gave them to Seth.

He flipped through them mumbling endless praises. "What's the name of your show?"

"The Gina show." Lilianne said under her breath embarrassed by its lame name.

Seth frowned then brightened as he said, "You have to show me how to do it!"

"Seeeeeeth!" Regina's musical voice glided down the staircase.

"Some other time?" Lili offered.

Seth nodded then rolled his eyes, " Regina wants to show me her baby pictures for the gazillionth time!"

Lilianne giggled and watched as he grabbed the album and started up the stairs.

Halfway to the top, he turned around and said, " And Lili? Not everything has to be about Gina." he winked and ran the rest of the stairs.

Lili smiled appreciatively and pressed 'stop' on her recorder.
