It's been 2 days since i talked to her at Louis's.
It was the best day of my life.
I walk up to her door and shake my hands.
Attempting to calm my nerves.
I rang the door bell and waited.
I heard her laugh through the red door.
"Hello-Oh, Hi Harry." She smiled.
Butterflies erupted in my stomach.
"I was wondering if you-um, you don't have to" I reach my hand up to scratch the back of my neck, "erm, would you like to go and have dinner with me tonight?"
I look up with hopeful eyes.
My left hand resting on the back of my neck still.
She giggled at my nervousness "Of course. Where should I meet you?"
"How about the pizza parlor on Brookford at 6." I smile.
"Okay. I'll see you later Harry-wait one second. I almost forgot." She left to look for something in her house.
She came back and handed me a small sheet of paper. "Here."
It was her phone number.
"Thank you. I'll see you later Alex."
