I was woken up by my phone ringing.
I open my eyes blinking a few times getting
adjusted to the light.
The caller ID read her name.
You can't ignore her Harry.
I click accept on my phone and press the
metal object to my ear.
"Erm-hello?"
"Hey" She breaths out. "You alright? I've been worried all morning. You haven't picked up your phone and-"
"Well stop worrying about me. I'm fine." I geimble
"I-Im sorry I just. Yesterday was a misunderstanding Harry. Brian- he's not-"
"Save it Alex. Why did you do it? Did you enjoy hurting me?"
"What do you mean Harry? I'm so sorry."
"You said you liked me." I whisper. "Didn't that mean something to you?"
She is silent.
"I ment those words Harry. I really really like you."
"No you dont! You can't!" I yell.
"What do you mean I can't?! Isn't that what you want?!" She yells back.
"You can't f.cking like someone out of pity because then everything will be based off of a lie and then they pile up and and,."
I couldn't finish. Fresh hot tears roll down
my face. I lean my head on my knees as my back is leaning against the wall.
A sob echos through my room as I break down.
"Harry are you alright? I'm coming over" She hangs up fast so I can't protest.
I nod hanging up too tossing my phone on the side. I hug my knees sobs echoing through the room.

"Harry where are you?" She calls through my house.
Another sob leaves my body as I stay hugging my knees.
"Oh Harry.." She frowns walking towards me.
She kneels in front of me and wipes my tears
away with the pad of her thumb.
"It's okay to cry Harry. It doesn't make you any different from anyone else." She whispers
I sniff nodding my head.
She sits against the wall moving my body so my head is cradled in her arms as more heart ache sobbs rip through my body.
"You've been hurt in a relationship. Have you?"
I didn't need to say anything for her to know she was right.
"She lied to you didn't she?"
I sniff getting out of her arms.
I leaned against the wall next to her.
"Harry I wasn't nor will I ever, ever lie to you. I truly like you."
I look at her getting lost in her eyes.
She was so beautiful.
"Say something Harry please" She whispered desperately.
I like you too
I wanted to say.
"I-I'm not like Brian, Alex. I don't have b-big muscles I don't have -"
"Don't you dare don't you ever dare compare yourself to a douche like him. Harry why can't you see you're better than him? You're so incrediblely sweet, funny, charming, and honest."
"I can't protect you like he can."
"Harry will you stop and listen! I like you for you not of you can punch a hole into the wall. I like you because you're not like every other guy on the streets I like- "
I cut her off placing my lips on her soft lips.
One hand holding hers lacing our fingers together.
We fit together like a perfect puzzle piece.
