Perseus's POV:

Finishing off that scum of the seas brought me great joy. It's not often I get to fight. Percy has good control over me usually but we are near my ancestral lands and not his. I'm stronger here...freer here.

Though I wished to have had more fun with my prey before killing him, however, I won't be able to live with myself if I caused the two girls I love to live in fear of me so I complied with Annabeth's wishes for me to end it already.

Though she seemed less effected by my actions after my cousin and one of Aphrodite's children returned with spoils from the pirate's ships, which included a chest full of Minerva's coins.

Her name is Piper you idiot. Don't you pay attention when I'm in control.

I ignored my Greek self insulting me. Any harm I bring him I bring upon myself as well. So there's no point in listening to him when I'm in control.

"A sacrifice" the son of Jupiter, Jason, suggested, "to the wine god. These dolphin men were his creations after all and we did kill them"

I thought about it. Bacchus transformed them as punishment for piracy...and well we did kill the pirates for their continued transgressions.

Many of the demigods were looking to me for answer though some were looking at Annabeth.

"Jason is correct" I said. "The wine god punished the dolphin men by transforming them into what they were and we circumvented that by killing them all, even if it were for the same crime of piracy."

"But the gold" The sons of Hermes exclaimed, "imagine all the prank supplies we could get"

Thank Ceres for her Grecian daughters. They slapped the sons of Hermes before they could get out of the way.

"What of the Athenian coins" Theo asked.

I looked at Annabeth, even if she's disowned they are coins from her siblings. She gave me the look of letting them go and I understood. "They shall be included in the sacrifice" I concluded

After that we loaded the ship with the bodies of the dead dolphin men, a bunch of diet soda, and set scuttling charges. I didn't question when the Greek demigods professed that Dionysius drinks Diet Coke now, though I'd imagine Bacchus would like Diet Pepsi just to spite Dionysius.

Once the ship disappeared into the large soda spill my cousin confirmed the ship was no longer there, as all the metals were taken.

The rest of the journey to Rome was quiet. No attacks. Not much discussions. Just an eerie silence before whatever chaos we were about to enter. Thankfully many of the crew took the time to rest even my loves.

"What's the plan for Rome little brother" a voice of such annoyance to me it could only belong to my now godly sister.

"The longer your position remains unknown the better" I stated

"But you know there's giants there Percy" she said

I grabbed my head struggling to suppress the Greek me. "DONT. call me that" I struggled through the pain.

Zoë gained a look of recognition on her face. "Perseus" she said hesitantly.

"Yes" I replied

"I'm such a horrible sister" she said placing her face in her hands.

"You did what you had to, to make sure I'm safe. The failings of my mortality is not your fault but the queen's. She entered her true form without warning, and without giving us enough time to react" I told her. Knowing full well that's when I began to wake from my slumber.
