Perseus's POV:
Zoë rolled her eyes at the classic excuse everyone in the hunt uses now. I don't know if she finds it annoying, because it's true, or because it's used just as often as Apollo recites his horrible torturous poetry. Probably a bit of both if I'm honest.
When the passage opened to the next room however, I could tell that this was the staging ground for the destruction of Rome. Fire works, monsters, wild animals. You name it. They probably have it.
"Well I hate to ruin the party" I said as I entered the room, "but this is just no"
"What do you mean by no" one of the giants asked from the center stage podium
"Shut it. We've planned this for years. It'll be perfect" his brother said, who is slightly larger and has coins in his hair.
"Just like your aim when you tried killing the moon goddess" I asked
The two brothers grumbled at that. "No matter," said the slightly large one, "we shall still kill you and your precious friend's time is reduced to only minutes..."
They got shocked by lightning...I'll give you one guess to guess which pissed off zeus child did it. I'll even give you a hint...

If you haven't guessed Thalia by now I don't know what to tell you.
"YOU. WILL. NOT. HARM. MY. LITTLE. COUSIN" She said with such malice and hatred I'm not even sure if Zeus himself could muster it at someone trying to steal his throne or Hera.
"Thalia there's multiple explosives here" Zoë scolded...which drew the attention of the two giants getting up from the blast. The two also seem to get nervous seeing that a goddess was present.
Thalia rolled her eyes and charged. Why couldn't Annabeth be here. Thalia would listen to her plans.
Anyway I charged alongside with Thalia and we were joined by Jason. We separated the giants to two different sides of the room through a combination of weapons and electrocution. Zoë helped where she could but the giants were doing everything in their power to not get killed by her.
Piper, I noticed however made her way to Nico's prison and dragged him out.
"ENOUGH" the coined haired brother shouted then pressed a button on a controller.
The hydra was released into the room not long after. Well shit.
I knew I could take this beast but I don't have the time nor patience. So I did something so rash, and probably stupid, that I think if Athena finds out she'll put up a motion to force me to go to school.
I pushed over some fireworks and lit them.
Now I know it's not smart to light off fireworks in an enclosed space. But have you ever had to deal with the Hydra and two giants. No? That's what I thought. So don't question my methods however unorthodox they are.
The resulting explosion was magnificent, despite Zoë's I'm going to kill you glare for my stupidity.
While the hydra died via fireworks a new...or well old player entered into the room. None other than Bacchus himself. "Well this is a horrible party really"
