"jo i miss you" i spoke to my boyfriend of six years "i miss you to mama. im gon get out soon though. i promise" "you say this every time jo" "i know ma but i mean it this time" "ok" "where my son at" "he in his room" "go get him for me beautiful" "ok" i go up and walked in to mason's room. i opened his door and seen him playing with toys "papa. some one on the phone" i said sitting on his bed and putting my phone on speaker. he walked over to me and sat on my lap "what" "who you talkin to lil boy" "daddy" "yea. why you answering the phone like that" "ion know"
"he got that from you jo" "mmm real shit. but how you doing baby boy. you taking care of yo moms like i told you to" "yes daddy" "no niggas tried to mess with mami" "nope" "ight good job" "daddy when you coming home" "some lil man" "20 SECONDS REMANING" "aye i love yall you heard?" "Yes" me and mason said at the same time "im gon see yall real soon i promise" "ok papa" "mason be good for me ight" "ok daddy" he call disconnected and i sighed "mama i miss daddy" "i do to stink stink. but go play with yo toys baby for a little, then go to bed. its time to go night night"
"ok mama" pecked his lips and he giggled then ran over to his toys. i got up then walked out his room closing the door. i walked back in my room and went to sleep.
fast forward
i had dropped mason off at my mom's house cause its my birthday to day. and im finna get lit no kids allowed. i head got my nails and lashes done yesterday so all i had to do was my hair makeup and find and outfit. my phone started ringing and i saw it was kay tryna facetime me. i answered it and kay popped up on the screen with a big smile on his face
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS" he screamed into the phone. i giggled as i sat up my phone on my vanity "thank you kay kay" "you good sis" "yea im cool. just a little sad right now" "ay ma cheer up. he gon be out sooner then you now" "your right" "where my nephew" "at my mom house" "mmm with his bad ass" "he get it from yo brother" i said with a little chuckle.
i heard someone walk in his room and they started talking "hey sis" my sister said popping up in the camera view "hey Jayla" "happy birthday beautiful" "thank you sis" i said smiling into the camera "my sister so bad" "and is" i said as i finished my makeup "how i look" i said posing "beautiful" Jayla said making me laugh "ay ill se yall at my party im finna go" "ight" they said at the same time" "bye Jayla bye kay" "bye sis" "bye lani" i hung up then started on my hair

i finished my hair and put an outfit on and i looked good as hell
