Long, long ago, before the earth was created. There lived two large families one Family is said to have the powers of good, while the other is said to have bad, when the earth had formed, the good had Trapped the bad within the earth.
Their anger creating the Earth's fiery core, once evolution took place, the first ever humans only got to see the beings of good, and in return they were worshipped and called gods, but it was soon upturned when one curious man wanted to explore a cave, little did the man know he was about to unleash pure chaos.

The young boy looked up at his mother through the mirror he stood in front of, confused, and touching the reddish brown and orange strands of hair that fell onto the sink "Mama?" the boy began "why does my hair turn red on my birthdays?" The boy's mother sighed softly and put down the scissors "You get that from my side of the Family honey, it usally happens to all the girl's in my family-but i guess it skipped your sister and went to you" she chuckled
"ok...but...why?" The boy asked again,the mother sighed and ruffled her son's hair "i'll tell you when your old enough, now get your butt to bed, my little Dahlia" she cooed,shooing off her son.
Her smile fell ever so slowly as she sighed, rubbing her temple. She looked back into the mirror, the shadow figure with a smile and eyes staring at her from behind her own reflection "i need you to keep him safe...him and his sister, no matter what-NOTHING is to harm them" she hissed in a whisper
The shadow figure smiles widen and it disappeared,as it did so the lights flicker for merely a few seconds.

Toby woke with a start, gasping and huffing as he looked around. Surrounding him was tall dead and leaf-less trees 'Shit-fell asleep in the clearing again' Toby groaned and stood up, shaking off the dead leaves and grass
And he began his walk back to the old and broken down mansion he HATES calling home.
