Chapter Fifteen

Immersed in his imaginative world, Mini skilfully maneuverer Chimmy across the spread-out blanket, his face adorned with intense concentration. With a delicate touch, he gently lifted Chimmy's right arm using his finger, mimicking the motion of a knock on the door.

"Knock, knock," Mini announced.

In response, a majestic lion entered the scene, guided by Namjoon. The imaginary door was opened.

"I'm sorry-"

"Wait, Mini," Namjoon interjected calmly. "First, we greet each other."

Mini paused, taking in the guidance. "Oh."

The door was closed momentarily, and Chimmy knocked again, eager to try again. The lion dutifully swung the door open.

"Hello, Mrs Johnsen," Mini voiced, manoeuvring Chimmy.

"Hello, Mini," replied Namjoon in character as the lion. "What brings you here?"

Mini continued with conviction, his voice filled with genuine remorse. "I came to say that I'm sorry about climbing into your backyard. I shouldn't have tried to retrieve my ball on my own. I should have informed my caretaker about the situation and allowed him to handle it."

"I'm glad to hear that. I accept your apology," the lion graciously responded.

"Thank you, Mrs Johnsen. Have a great day further," Mini replied earnestly.

"You too, Mini."

A sense of pride washed over Namjoon's face as he observed Mini guiding Chimmy away from the lion, signalling the successful conclusion.

"That was excellent, Mini. I think we've practised enough," Namjoon remarked, rising from the blanket, and settling on the sofa.

He placed the file on his lap and began jotting down notes. Pausing for a moment, he glanced at Mini, who was engrossed in playing with the soft toys.

"Mini, tell me again which toy represents Jungkook?"

Mini's eyes sparkled with excitement as he grabbed one of the soft toys and proudly held it up for Namjoon to see.

"Bunny!" Mini exclaimed.

Namjoon made a note of it and continued his questioning. "And what about Taehyung?"

With a firm grip on one of the teddy bears, Mini replied gleefully, "Bear! Because Jungkook sometimes calls him 'Taebear'."

Namjoon nodded and he jotted it down before closing the file.

"Please put all of the animals back into the box while I prepare for the next game we are going to play," Namjoon told Mini, walking toward the door.

A room clean of soft toys welcomed Namjoon when he returned to the room. Mini was seated on the sofa, ready for the next game. While Namjoon made his way to the other sofa the pack of cards in his hands was curiously eyed by Mini.

"This game is easy," said Namjoon once seated. "I will hold up a card with a word on it and you will try to tell me the meaning of the word. Are you ready?

"Yeah!"

"Then let's play."

As per usual, Jungkook arrived at the clinic just as Namjoon and Mini were wrapping up their session. Mini, captivated by the assortment of toys, remained in the room, engrossed in playful exploration. Meanwhile, Jungkook found himself once again welcomed into Namjoon's office.

"Tell me, Mr Jeon, has Mini been sleeping in his own bed this past week?" Namjoon inquired, his gaze focused and attentive.

"He did initially, but a couple of days ago, he had a nightmare. We ended up letting him sleep in our bed. And yesterday, he refused to sleep in his own bed," Jungkook explained with a touch of concern in his voice.
