Y/N sat on the couch, his mind swirling with a mix of anger and sadness. Stephanie Tanner, always perceptive, noticed his distress and sat down next to him.
"Hey, Y/N, what's going on? You look like someone stole your last slice of pizza." Stephanie greeted, letting out a slight chuckle.
Y/N sighed, looking down at his hands. "I just found out that my girlfriend cheated on me. I can't believe it."
Stephanie placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. You deserve better than that."
He managed a weak smile. "Thanks, Stephanie. It just hurts, you know?"
Stephanie nodded sympathetically. "Yeah, it does. But you're not alone. I'm here for you."
As they talked, Stephanie shared some stories of her own heartbreaks, reminding Y/N that he wasn't the only one who had gone through tough times. They laughed, they cried, and slowly, the weight on Y/N's shoulders began to lift.
Later that evening, Stephanie suggested they watch a funny movie to take his mind off things. Y/N agreed, grateful for her company.
As the movie played, Y/N couldn't help but feel thankful for Stephanie's presence. Her genuine concern and lighthearted humor were exactly what he needed.
Stephanie: "You know, Y/N, sometimes life throws curveballs, but you've got to keep swinging. You're way better off without someone who would betray your trust."
Y/N nodded, appreciating her wisdom. "You're right, Stephanie. I just need to focus on moving forward."
"Exactly! And if you ever need someone to talk to or just hang out, I'm here for you."
Y/N smiled, genuinely touched by her kindness. "Thanks, Stephanie. I'm lucky to have a friend like you."
In the following weeks, Stephanie continued to be a supportive friend to Y/N. They went out for ice cream, explored the city, and even had a few heart-to-heart conversations about life, love, and everything in between.
Over time, Y/N's wounds began to heal, and he found solace in the genuine friendship he had with Stephanie. The experience taught him that even in the midst of heartbreak, there could be silver linings.
As they walked through the park one sunny afternoon, Y/N turned to Stephanie with gratitude in his eyes. "You've been my rock, Stephanie. I don't know what I would have done without you."
Stephanie grinned. "That's what friends are for, Y/N. We've got each other's backs."
And in that moment, he realised everything. Y/N has always been in love with her, he just tried to push those feelings apart for all this times.
He smiled at her, knowing that one day he'll eventually tell her how he feels about her.
