A Misfits story (Jschlatt + Goodguyfitz x reader fic)

Part 13

The few days after that dinner with Cam I had just continued settling into my new home in Melbourne. I was adjusting to the time zone with no issue as my sleep schedule was already wrecked. I was still familiarising myself with streaming on twitch and decided to try and record a video to upload to Youtube. I was still finding it difficult but thankfully Swagger had offered to let me record a video with him and one of his friends HeyImBee. Toby also reminded me that I could message him for any help if I needed it.

The video that me, Swagger and Bee was recording was a minecraft one. We figured a more chill game would be ideal for my first video. Me and Bee also got on really well, we had similar sense of humour and she was really friendly. At times I kind of felt a little like I was third wheeling because it definitely felt like her and Swagger had something going on between the two of them but I didn't really mind. We had gotten about two hours worth of content before we decided to end the video. "Well I do have to go run some errands but Y/N it was so great to meet you and I can't wait to see you both in LA next week!" She cheered through the mic before leaving the call. "Okay Y/N are you sure you want to do the editing yourself? I can give you my editors details if you want" Swagger offered. "No it's okay, I do wanna learn for myself right now" I responded. "Okay if you share your screen with me and pull up the software, I'll give you sort of step by steps and pointers".

Surprisingly the editing wasn't that hard. Maybe because there was only two hours worth of simple content and it was quite easy to know what parts to cut and what to keep. We got it down to a 20 minute video with subtitles, music and sound effects in places where it felt needed. I was actually quite proud of myself for this. "Okay Swags, time to upload it. Wish me luck". I promptly pressed the upload button on Youtube. I kept the title simple and had it as "Minecraft but I'm the third wheel!". And yes I did make sure Bee and Swagger were fine with that title.

Almost instantly after uploading I started getting a decent amount of notifications. My video was getting a decent amount of views and people seemed quite interested. I'd also had a few messages from my friends congratulating me on my first upload.

I also had about 50 messages from a group chat I'd been added to by Ryan. What the fuck, I thought to myself while looking at the absurd amount of notifications and the amount of unknow numbers.

Ryan: LA party next week?

Swagger: fuck yeah

Unknown number: time n place, i'll be there

Cameron: I'm down, lets just not get as crazy as last time

Unknown number: don't be a pussy lets get fucked up

Ryan: I mean day two of the convention might be a good day to all meet up afterwards and do something? I'll arrange a limo or some shit

Toby: What the fuck do we need a limo for?

Unknown number: Cause Ryan likes to waste money on unnecessary shit 

I couldn't be bothered to respond to the messages and just put the groupchat on silent because I knew otherwise my phone would just constantly be blowing up with messages from people I didn't know. I was looking forward to LA a lot though.
