A Misfits story (Jschlatt + Goodguyfitz x reader fic)

Part 29

"I get it Y/N, I don't mean to push I just wanted to ask about it..." Cam said reassuringly. I felt bad but he did look kind of disappointed. He instantly said something else and switched the subject...probably avoid an awkward silence. "So did you hear Lunch Club are coming out here soon to record some videos...?".

"Oh yeah I did actually" I responded with an awkward smile "Got any ideas for videos you're gonna be filming?".

"Yeah I think we're gonna go camping...should be quite funny. Oh and they're gonna feature on an episode of the podcast" He responded with a smile.

"Sounds fun..." and there it was. the awkward silence. I looked down at the floor and felt his gaze instantly move off of me. "I'll let you get back to your...work" he smiled hesitantly.

I gave him a slightly awkward smile back and he walked out the door before closing it gently behind him. I sighed and rested my elbows on the desk. I felt bad about Cam but I didn't wanna let it bother me. I jumped back into the video call with Schlatt and we started playing Minecraft.

A couple hours later:

I'd continued playing Minecraft with Schlatt for a while and Charlie had even come onto the server to play with us. I had actually struck up quite a good friendship with Charlie and Ted. They were very funny people and our personalities matched quite well. I was enjoying my evening until I got another text from an unknown number. I picked up my phone and looked at it.

Hello again Y/N. I think you know who this is.

I knew straight away it was Adam. I wasn't going to reply and quite honestly I couldn't be bothered to deal with his bullshit again. I put my phone down and continued playing Minecraft with the guys.

3 days later:

"Oh fuck today really? The way everyone made it sound I thought that they wasn't coming out here for like a few more weeks" I said excitedly to Ryan.

I was just in the kitchen with Ryan making popcorn for our movie night. He had just informed me that Lunch Club were boarding their flight to Aus today. "Yeah they're at the airport now, wont be getting here till late though. Why are you excited about that?" he asked.

"Am I not just allowed to be excited over that?" I questioned sarcastically. He shrugged and I threw a piece of popcorn at him while giggling.

"Ahh you bitch, don't waste that" He laughed while grabbing the bowl from me.

We sat down on the couch with Sam and began to watch a movie. For some weird reason we had all agreed to watch Titanic...weird choice but we move. I snuggled up on the couch with a blanket and started munching on the popcorn besides me. I decided to message Schlatt. I thought it was kind of weird he didn't tell me him and the guys were coming out here today.

about to board flight soon

should be in Melbourne at like 2am

I could feel myself grinning while staring at my phone, I was just excited to see Schlatt and my other new pals. I put my phone down and stopped smiling like an idiot just so Sam and Ryan didn't get suspicious. I hadn't told anyone that Adam had messaged me. I figured Cam and Ryan hadn't scared him off but his message seem harmless enough. 

Me, Sam and Ryan sat in complete silence throughout the movie, we were completely engrossed in it somehow. I'd seen this movie a million times before and know Sam and Ryan had too, so I was quite surprised how much we all enjoyed watching it again. By the time it had finished it was about eight o clock. 

"You guys wanna order some food?" I asked "I'm hungry as fuck". I pulled myself up and stretched my arms above my head. 

"Yeah I am too" Sam responded.

"I'll order something, what do you guys want?" Ryan asked us both while grabbing his phone off of the coffee table.

"I'm fine with whatever. I just need to go stretch my legs and get my nicotine fix" I smiled before walking towards the sliding back door. I stepped outside and instantly felt the fresh evening breeze flow through my hair. Refreshing, I thought. The sun was painted a bright orange colour as the sun was beginning to set. I closed the door behind me and threw myself down into the hammock. I picked one of my cigarettes our the box and lit it, then took a drag of it while staring up at the sky. Fuck I need to stop smoking.

After I spent 20 minutes or so outside, I felt more awake and relaxed. Back inside, Sam and Ryan had ordered a whole bunch of different food which we were now waiting for to be delivered. "You must spend so much money on food" I laughed to Ryan.

"Yeah cunt, maybe a little too much" Ryan responded. 

I slumped back down in the couch, pulling one of the blankets over me and reaching for my phone. I had a couple texts.

I'll ruin your life

Fuck off with the threats Adam I don't need your bs in my life anymore

Just boarded the plane, gonna be an enjoyable 8 hours 👍

I just had to endure 3 hours of watching titanic, hence the no response

10/10 dont recommend would rather be on a plane than having to watch that again

I put my phone down and laughed. "Mason's pissed again" I chuckled. Gotta love receiving drunk texts from him, they're always hilarious. Though it's more funny actually being with him when he's drunk because he always finds something insanely stupid but funny to do.

Our assortment of food came shortly after and we ate it while watching Scream. My all time favourite horror movie honestly. Totally haven't seen it about one hundred times. Schlatt and the rest of the guys were staying at an Airbnb about 10 minutes away from our place and they were headed straight there. Because of their flight landing at like 2am I wasn't gonna get a chance to see him tonight. Because of that I decided to get an early night and head straight to bed after we finished watching Scream.
