Bae Suzy is a multicompany heiress in the technology and print media industries. While she gets leadership training at one of the publishing houses her family owns, she gets enticed by the works of a pseudonymous author they represent.

Nam Joohyuk, with his pen name "Eudaemonia," is the author behind the works that amused Suzy to a whole new level. He writes as a pastime, but he is another full-swing heir in the business world.

One day, Suzy was sent to represent the company at a leadership conference. As she walked into the crowded room, she scanned for an empty seat. Spotting one beside a tall, dark-haired man, she made her way over.

"Mind if I take this seat?" she asked with a playful smile.

He looked up from his phone and met her gaze, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Not at all."

Suzy settled down next to him and couldn't help but feel a magnetic pull towards him. There was something about his presence that felt oddly familiar.

"I'm Bae Suzy," she introduced herself, extending her hand.

He took it in his warm grasp and shook it gently. "Nice to meet you, Miss. I'm Nam Joohyuk."

Her heart skipped a beat as the name registered in her mind. It feels like he is bizzarely familiar.

As she sat there beside him in silence while waiting for the event to start, the tension between them grew palpable. Suzy couldn't help but steal glances at Joohyuk, her eyes tracing the contours of his face, trying to unravel the mystery that surrounded him.

Suddenly, a buzz from Joohyuk's phone shattered the silence. Instinctively, Suzy's eyes flickered towards it, and to her surprise, she caught a glimpse of his lockscreen. It bore the words written in Korean that translated to "Eudaemonia." Her heart skipped a beat as realization washed over her - Nam Joohyuk was none other than the pseudonymous author whose works had captivated her.

Playing indifferent, Suzy watched as Joohyuk checked his phone briefly before turning to face her. "Mr. Nam," she called him softly.

"Yes, Miss Bae?" he responded, his voice laced with curiosity.

"Perhaps," she began cautiously, "are you a fan of 'Eudaemonia'? I mean the pseudonymous writer."

Joohyuk's eyes widened slightly as he tried to regain composure. "What gave you that impression, Miss Bae?" he asked nonchalantly.

"Oh," Suzy replied dismissively, "nothing much. I just accidentally read 'Eudaemonia' on your lockscreen earlier. so I thought you might be a fan too."

A flicker of relief passed through Joohyuk's eyes before he masked it with intrigue. "Why? Are you a fan of that writer?"

A mischievous smile played on Suzy's lips as their gazes locked. "Yes," she confessed boldly. "He's really good. He's one of the pseudonymous writers our company represents. But I haven't met him yet."
