At four o'clock in the morning, tranquility resumed in the emergency hall once again.

Jennie, dressed in a white coat, she strode down the hall with her hands in her pockets.

The cleaner is holding a mop, she is dipping the mop on the bucket full of disinfectant, and forcefully mopped the bloodstain on the floor with great energy.

Jennie was absentminded and only came to her senses when she reached the cleaner's side. The cleaner couldn't avoid her in time, so the mop pushed the blood slop over, covering her shoes.

The cleaner hurriedly apologized, "I'm sorry, Doctor Kim, I'm very sorry..."

Right after that, the cleaner subconsciously rubbed her hands with the cleaning rag in order to wipe her shoes.

But Jennie quickly pulled out her hand and stopped the cleaner from kneeling down, "You don't need to do that. It's okay."

"But..."

Jennie gently interrupted, "It was my mistake. It was my carelessness that inconvenienced you."

Hearing this, the cleaner became increasingly embarrassed, "What are you talking about? Why don't... I think I'd better help you wipe it off."

Jennie stopped her once again and smiled faintly, "No worries, I can take care of it myself."

The cleaner felt guilty as well as grateful, "Doctor Kim, you're such a really good person..."

Jennie only nodded and continued going forward.

The cleaner grasped the mop tightly and examined the doctor's back -- a slender and petite figure, her doctor's coat further added a hint of serenity and exquisiteness, her hair knotted in a messy bun, a few tendrils sprang loose on both sides of her delicate face.

The cleaner hesitated for a moment and lightly called out, "Doctor Kim!"

The spacious and empty hall echoed.

Jennie's footsteps halted and turned around, "Yes?"

"The person that was sent here just now...was he saved?" the little cleaner asked, subconsciously glancing at the bloodstains under her feet.

At this moment, the emergency hall was deadly calm that you could even hear a needle drop. Who could have imagined all the wailing and turmoil that had preceded previously, a ball of chaos and disorder...

"Managed to save," Jennie remarked, "He is okay now."

The cleaner's face lit up with delight, "That's wonderful, Doctor Kim! You must have gone to great lengths to save him..." she said as she bent towards her, "you've worked so hard..."

Jennie responded with a tiny nod and turned to leave.

Four o'clock, it's the darkest hour of the night.

The hospital corridor sparkled with deathly pale lights, the distinctive flavor of life and death permeated the air, bitterness; all of which are impossible to get rid of.

Jennie put her hands back into her pockets as usual, passed through the corridor where there's not a single soul in sight.

She entered her office, and stood still. She lowered her head and fixed her eyes at the dirty shoes on her feet, a hint of distaste in her eyes.
