It wasn't until Jennie got home that she found a series of missed calls on her phone. She was about to call back when Eunwoo's call came again.

"Hello?"

"There was a fire in your area?" Eunwoo asked worriedly.

"The next street over. I'm fine here." Jennie kicked off her shoes and walked into the room barefoot.

"That's good..." Eunwoo breathed a sigh of relief before asking again, "Have you been busy recently?"

"A little." Jennie passed by the floor-to-ceiling mirror and caught a glimpse of her body covered with flecks of mud. She furrowed her eyebrows, feeling uncomfortable, "I'll tell you later. I'm going to take a shower first. I'm going home tomorrow to see our parents."

"Okay. Take care. See you tomorrow..." Eunwoo hung up the phone.

Standing under the shower, Jennie saw the splashing water and suddenly remembered Lisa's rude eyes, her attractive features covered with black soot and sweat, with a wicked expression, exactly the same as before...

At that time, Jennie was only a middle school student.

It was summer. She was on her way home after school, but was stopped by Lisa and her gang of hooligans slash good-for-nothing friends.

Jennie was accustomed to walking with her head down. It wasn't until she almost stepped on Lisa's shoes that she realized her vision was being blocked by someone. She raised her head, confusion was written all over her face.

Lisa smugly raised her chin and grinned at her, "Your name is Cha Jennie, right?"

Jennie was silent.

Lisa rushed to her and said bluntly, "I have a crush on you."

Her friends giggled, Lisa frowned, turning around to curse, "Fucking get lost! Can't you see I was coaxing your sister-in-law? I will beat to death anyone who makes another sound!"

The group stepped back in a circle, Lisa looked back at Jennie and frowned, "Speak."

Jennie stared at her for a while and said, "I don't know you."

"My name is Lalisa Manoban..." she paused before winking at her, "...your future."

Cringe...

Jennie lowered her head disinterestedly and continued to walk forward silently.

Lisa put her hands in her pockets, raised her head and looked at the sky with a smile. Her long legs moved, and her tall body blocked Jennie's path.

Jennie walked to the left, Lisa calmly blocked the left side; Jennie proceeded to the right, Lisa blocked the way to the right level-headed.

With this back and forth, Jennie raised her head to look at Lisa again, her gaze indifferent and clearly getting annoyed.

Lisa tilted her head slightly, raised her chin to look down at Jennie, both smiling and not, "I'm asking you something. We haven't finished talking yet, so why are you running? Huh?"

Jennie didn't answer and tried to take the opportunity to run away...but failed miserably.

Lisa quickly blocked her way again, Jennie couldn't avoid it in time and bumped into her.

"Aigooo!" Lisa hummed vaguely and laughed, "Come, fall into me again, fall into my heart."

What the hell...???
