Lisa clamped the aggressive man's wrist with one hand, but she didn't use much effort, yet the man couldn't even move an inch. She sneered, "Beating a woman? Where did you learn this disgusting behavior?"

"Ya! Let me go! Otherwise...I--" the man stammered.

"Otherwise?" Lisa asked back, lifting an eyebrow.

The man released Jennie and attacked Lisa with the other hand. Lisa clutched his wrist and shoved him away, pushing the man aside and slamming him into the wall.

The man's wife shrieked at Lisa, "Do you beat people in your hospital?!"

Lisa ignored them, and when she looked back to see Jennie still standing behind her, she impatiently pointed to the door, "What are you still doing here? If you aren't going out to save people, are you here just to watch the drama?"

Jennie ran out immediately, only to hear Lisa's hoarse voice behind her vulgarly saying, "I'm not from this hospital, one of my people is injured. Whoever tries and dares to cause trouble here and delay my bud's treatment, I'll break their legs without any hesitation at all."

This signifies the way the world works; bully the weak and fear the strong, and the arrogant must be dealt with even more arrogantly, Jennie thought.

The injured firefighter was named Chanyeol, and the one who accompanied him was Lucas.

Jennie cut Chanyeol's sleeves to do basic cleaning for him. He was in a cold sweat from so much pain, the black ashes on his face rushed down like water out of the gullies.

"Endure it a bit, I'll give you anesthesia soon. Nurse Ji..." Jennie raised her head and signaled to Jihyo, who came over to wipe the dirt off Chanyeol's face.

Instead, the big man got embarrassed and twitched.

Jihyo was anxious, "Why do you keep dodging?"

Chanyeol raised his other hand, "I'll do it, Nurse...I'll do it myself."

"Your hands are all swollen and dirty." As Jihyo spoke, she held his hand and wiped his face clean.

After wiping off that layer of black ash, Chanyeol's face was flushed crimson, with a few dry cracks and scapes.

Jihyo felt sympathy in her heart when she observed it being burned by the flames. She paused, lowering her head and wiping his palms instead of speaking again.

Jennie simply cleaned the burn wound on his arm, gave him a shot of anesthesia, and asked coldly, "Was there no ambulance at the fire scene?"

Chanyeol replied stupidly, "I don't know, I was brought here by Lucas."

Lucas helped to explain, "There were. But it's not enough. They took a few injured people and left."

"Were there no ambulance left at the scene?" Jennie asked again.

Lucas didn't answer.

"Go and complain."

For a brief period, Lucas and Chanyeol were taken aback but Jihyo felt compelled to shout internally: Doctor Kim, that is our hospital!

Chanyeol smiled awkwardly and waved his hand, "An issue between like-minded humans, all part of one big family, there is nothing to complain about. Hehe."

Jennie looked up at him.

Chanyeol assumed she didn't understand, so he pointed at Jennie and then at himself, "Doctors, firefighters, don't we all work to serve the people? We are family, one big family. We don't have it easy."
