Clip-on earrings

Giyuu POV:

We finally reach the festival. The lights brighten the dim night. Inaudible chatter coming from the bustling crowds. I gulped as we walked through the entrance. This was the first time I had been to a festival in a long time. I had gotten used to the usual quiet that surrounded me most of the time. I looked at Nemi with worried eyes. He looked back at me and smiled. He squeezed my hand before pulling it up for a kiss. "It'll be okay love." He said, giving me a reassuring smile. A small smile crept up my face and I lean on his arm. "I hope." I sigh.

I had a strong grip on Nemi's hand as to not be swept away by the crowd we were walking through. Eventually, most of the crowd went elsewhere and the streets weren't as busy or noisy as before. I looked through shop windows as we passed by and something caught my eye. I stop infront of a jewellery store.

"Hmm?" I hear Nemi walk up to me. "I would like to go inside this shop please Nemi" I say with a slightly shy voice. He smiles and caresses my cheek. "Sure love" He stops caressing my cheek to yell out to the others that we would be in the shop infront of us. We receive a thumbs up from Uzui. "We'll be in this restaurant when you guys are done!" He pointed to a nearby restaurant. Nemi turned to look at me. "Let's go then, love" He smiled before walking me into the shop.

The shop was a beauty. Jewellery laid out on counters and shelves. After looking around for a while something caught my eye. There were these blue clip-on earrings in a water droplet design and green clip-on earrings with a leaf design. "Nemi!" I squealed. "Can we get these? Please!" I begged. "Why do we need both?" He raised an eyebrow. "So we could match, a symbol of our relationship!" He looked at the earrings for a while. Eventually he took them off the hooks they were on. "Sure love, let's get them." He smiled sweetly. "Thank you Nemi! I love you!" I whisper as I kiss his hand. "I love you too" He kissed my forehead.

We went up to the counter and paid. We exited the store and I took one of the blue earrings and one of the green earrings. "What are you doing?" Nemi asked. "I was thinking we could have one green and one blue, is that alright..?" He smiled again and he kisses my forehead once more. "Do you mind helping me put them on?" He smirked. "Not at all Nemi!" I replied sweetly. I take the earrings and I clip them on his ears. "It hurts a little at first but you get used to the feeling eventually!"

Sanemi POV:

He is so cute. I don't know how I managed to score a man like this. "Thank you love." I kiss him on his cheek. "Want me to help you put yours in?" I ask, pushing his hair out of the way so I could see his face. "Yes please." He replies quickly but sweetly. "Okay then." I chuckle.

I finish clipping them on his ears and I pull away to admire the sight. "You look adorable~" I smile. I see his cheeks turn a faint shade of red. "Thank you Nemi, you look nice too" He tucks a strand of his loose hair behind his ear. I chuckle and I take his hand. We start walking toward the restaurant we were supposed to go to.
