You can be SUPER creative with this! Just don't make abusive parents or siblings! That's so overused! If you do used abusive family members, have a REASON for the abuse instead of doing it just because!
For a good creepypasta backstory, maybe they were a lab experiment, or maybe they're an insane school teacher! Seriously, if you make a lazy backstory, like abuse, it's so much missed potential!
Maybe the backstory can explain killing method, or insanity, or a disorder! However, if you make a disorder, please research it before using it. If you use it incorrectly, it can be offensive to people with real disorders.
For a good warriors backstory, just be realistic. Not something like, "oh this cat was created by Starclan to help the clans!" How would that even work-? Just be creative, but also be realistic!
For Undertale backstories, don't steal the backstory of characters like Chara or Asriel! Make a better backstory instead of stealing! Be creative! Maybe it can take place after the pacifist route, and there's still a human who defies monsters, or vice versa!
Go crazy! Just make sure the backstory makes sense and it's not too overused or cliche!
