It is believed that the four stages in which earth would function were as follows: first, in which good and evil resided in different worlds, second- in which both were in the same world, third- in which they both existed in the same family and fourth- in which they coexist in the same person.
We're in the fourth stage, I believe. However, if only we decided to overcome this little side of devil residing in us, it'd be easier to lead on a life free of unwanted miseries.
Though tough at first it may seem, it's not actually that bad. Just small efforts with constant trying and patience, and there you go. You've overcome it with mere minimal efforts!
