Chapter 2

Here you are, standing infront of a big ass castle in the middle of Antarctica being led in by it's princess while passing people who bowed towards the princess as you two pass through the hallways of said castle

The castle's exterior almost blended into the frozenland from afar but close up, you would see the intricate details that not only helps in camouflaging the castle from afar, but also decorates the walls with ice and snow, giving a sense of unity to it's surroundings

The interior looked more homey that you would have guessed from the exterior

The outside looked more like a fortress with castle-like towers and balconies but the inside looked like a normal castle

There are minimal amount of decorations tho, seeing as the new rulers have only recently gotten more time for themselves, it made sense in your head that there's minimal trinkets and paintings in the halls

None the less, the carpet and chandeliers are all well taken care of. You should probably tell Akiri to give her servants a raise for such a good job

You were led into a room which is themed to your favorite color, fusing it with a theme that you also liked (for example, if you like green and like nature then it will seem like an forest elf's dream dwelling. if you like purple and space, it will be a galactic space station kind of feel. if you like red and torture... well uhm... just think of your dream bedroom or just a normal one. whatever suits you :D)

"Alrighty, this is your room m'lady" Akiri said while giving a mock bow towards you. Normally you would have scoffed and messed with her but you were amazed at the room you will be staying for a week

From the door, to the left wall is where the bed is. At the right wall's left side, there's a vanity table and a small and tall cabinet for small items. The right side of the same wall has a big wardrobe for your clothes it seems

At the center of the room there's a chandelier and big fluffy round rug that matches the aesthetic that the room is going for. At the opposite wall from the door is another door that you assume is a balcony, considering there's blinds that are tied to each side of the door and also the natural light coming from said door

"Whoahh... And when I thought things couldn't be better"

You hear Akiri chuckle before saying "Well there's also the garden, the pool and the arcade"

"YOU HAVE A WHOLE ENTIRE ARCADE IN A CASTLE?!"

"ehh, we call it the arcade but it's more like a gaming room for us. *whispers* tho we don't use it as much as we would like to..."

You nod along while still looking at all of the decorations in the room. a small thought of how hard must Akiri's servants work to keep the castle clean makes you drop a sweat

You walk over to the balcony doors to see a view that extends way further than the empire's walls. The snowy mountain range, a large icy cave that you could only see after you squint your eyes, the empire's walls, the districts in the empire, the people walking around on the streets, the castle's walls, the soldiers patrolling, and the garden

As you were still gaping at the astonishing view, Akiri walks up from behind you

"Gorgeous huh? I would do everything that me and my brother did again just for this view... Not to mention our history with this place and for the people who lived here..."

"Yeah, it's stunning. I can't believe that I'm not in a 5 star hotel"

Akiri almost cackles at what you said and replied "FIVE STAR HOTEL?! I WILL MAKE SURE YOU FEEL LIKE ROYALTY WHILE STAYING WITH ME AND MY BRO!"
