Chapter 10

"Alright well, while you do that, I think I'ma just go and take a nap....." (Y/n) said, smiling softly.

"Okay then! While you rest, I'll work!" Makina said, with determination over her face.

The boy nodded and walked back to his room, before climbing onto his bed, and getting under his covers.

Closing his eyes, Makina decided it was her cue to start cleaning up.

There was a alot to do, as (y/n) seemed to have a hard time keeping his apartment clean.

Crossing her arms and putting a finger to what was supposed to be her "chin", Makina thought about what she was going to do first.

After a moment of thinking, she thought she'd start with storing away the cleaning dishes and other things from the drying rack.

But before she did, she walked to (y/n) bedroom, checking up on him.

Seeing him nap made her smile.

"Sleep well (y/n), I love you....." she whispered, before slowly and gently closing the door.

Not wanting to disturb him with any noise, she thought it would be a good idea to close his bedroom door, keeping any unwanted sounds out.

"Okay, let's do this" she told herself.

Walking into the kitchen, she began to take the dishes, cups and utensils from the drying rack, and putting them way.

From there, she'd start the next few hours of cleaning up the place.

Throughout that time, she'd sweep the floors, pick up trash, vacuum the carpets, organize objects that looked out of order, dusted objects that were on shelves.

At one point she thought if she'd even clean up (y/n)'s bedroom, but decided not to risk waking him up.

After only a few hours, she was done.

Looking at the place, she smiled in pride and gladness at the cleanliness of the apartment.

"I did it, ohhhhh, I wonder what (y/n)'s gonna think, I hope he likes what I've done" the protogen excitedly told herself, blushing and wagging her tail.

She then looked over his bedroom, smiling.

(Y/n) began to stir awake, before softly opening his eyes.

Noticing a small amount of await, he saw furry arms wrapped over torso, and turned around to see Makina sleeping peacefully.

She was still in the maid dress he helped put her in earlier too.

Gently, he sat up in his bed, and rubbed his eye sockets.

Makina's glowing eyes then blinked open, before she sat up like him.

"Did you rest well?" She asked the boy, hugging his side and nuzzling his cheek.

"Um, yeah....." He responded, blushing lightly.

He then got up from his bed grabbed his phone, to check the time.

"4:23pm" it read on the brightly led screen.

Yawning, he stored it in one of his pockets.

"I cleaned up your apartment, would you like to see it?" Makina asked.

(Y/n) then looked at her and glanced away before answering; "Sure."

The protogen would then get up from his bed as well, and grab his hand.

Leading him, out the door of the bedroom and into the rest of the apartment, she showed him the living room.

"Woah.... This place looks a lot better now" the boy said.

"That's not all, I did the kitchen too!" Makina stated.

(Y/n) walked into his kitchen, checking it out and nodding in approval.

It was clear that the protogen sprayed and wiped it clean.

"This is great, but what about the bathroom?" He asked.

"Mhm, I cleaned up the bathroom as well, come look!" She asked.

She would then walk to his bathroom, with the boy following behind her.

Slowly pushing the door open to reveal it, (y/n) saw how clean it looked, more than before.

"Haha, this is nice....." He complimented.

He then turned to look at the protogen with smile of gladness.

"Makina, this is amazing, thanks alot for doing this" (y/n) said.

Makina blushed lightly, and hugged him, while wagging her tail.

He then hugged her back, enjoying the moment.

After a moment, the boy decided it was over.

"Okay okay, haha" (y/n) chuckled, gently breaking the embrace they had with eachother.

"I still have to clean up your room" the protogen noted.

"Oh okay, like right now?" The boy asked.

"If you want, or I could do it later!" She replied.

"Hmm, better to be done now than later, but..... Let's do it together, I can help clean up now that I'm awake" he added.

"Oh no no no no, you don't have to do that, you can just rest if you want," the protogen insisted, not wanting her owner to do anything she can do for him.

"Makina, I already rested, for like a few hours haha, it's okay" (y/n) said, petting the top of the protogens head.

She giggle in response and decided to go with his idea.

"Okay, if you say so" she said with a smile.

After that, they'd both walk into the bedroom and start picking up things, and organizing the boys belongings.

.....

For some time, the two of them worked together cleaning up (y/n)'s bedroom.

"Nice! I think we're done....." (Y/n) said, scratching his head.

"Yes, and it took half the time it would've taken me because of your help, so thank you (y/n)!" Makina happily told him.

"You don't gotta thank me Makina, I don't mind helping out with chores, besides I didn't just want to do nothing after taking a nap," he responded.

"But thank your welcome anyways" the boy added with a smile.

"Your whole apartment seems to be cleaned up already, so what do you want to do now?" Makina asked.

"Hmm, I actually don't know! Maybe we can watch tv or something....." He answered, genuinely wondering what they should do.

Only a moment later, a growling can be heard coming from the boys stomach.

Looking down at it, he awkwardly smiled at the protogen.

"Hungry?" She asked.

To which she received a nod in "Yes" from (y/n).
