If there was one lie Venti had to say, it would be the fact that he wasn't in the least worried about how his date with Lumine would end up going. He was absolutely frantic about the idea he just got the starborn traveler to go on a date with him, something he never would've expected from himself.

Venti had bought some wine from the Dawn Winery with the funds he had saved up as a bard and along with some of his specialty food he made just for them. Alright, he got their meal.

He just needed to look presentable to her. Oh... what would he wear? His casual clothes seemed to be too... casual for such a date. Besides, he'd pick her up at sunset by the Serenitea Pot, he didn't have much time to waste.

With some more deliberation, he soon picked out an outfit that seemed to be formal enough for such an occasion; a white suit and cap with some colors of green here and there. Hopefully, it'd be good enough...

---

Lumine was surprisingly very calm about the idea that Venti had asked her out. She certainly held romantic feelings for the bard, that was easily noticeable, but it was a lot more... controlled, in a way.

She was sitting on the porch of her house in the Serenitea Pot, closing her eyes as she let herself daydream about... whatever came to her mind-

"Windblume, sorry I kept you waiting!"

Lumine opened her eyes upon hearing Venti's voice, his hand reaching out to hers with a warm smile on his face, and she sat up, examining her date's attire...

He had a white suit, and while it looked similar to his usual clothing, it was a lot more fabulous.

She couldn't help but let out a small blush upon it. It was certainly a rare sight to see Venti looking like... that.

"You look different today." Lumine mused, taking his hand and standing up, still in awe at his look. "In a good way, of course."

Venti nodded, bowing to kiss her hand before letting it go, unable to even utter out a word, still in awe upon seeing his own date's attire...

A white and blue dress with some Cecilias decorated into a corset part.

"You look beautiful, Lumine." Venti said after a moment of examining her, trying to look away to get back to the topic of their date. "S-Should we get a move on, then?"

Lumine couldn't help but chuckle lightly, fixing his hat. "Sure, where are we going for this date?"

Venti paused for a moment, pretending to think about it. With a small wink and a wave of the hand, he spoke in a playful tone. "Why, my dear Windblume, our date shall be held within the stars, and I shall sing of it for everyone to hear."

"Stars... Starsnatch Cliff?"

"Yeah."Lumine nodded, and Venti soon took her hand, guiding her out of the Serenitea Pot and onto their date place, with a small stroll as they went. The stroll was quite peaceful, fireflies and small animals buzzing about.

*Timeskip*

Upon reaching the place, Lumine noticed a small quaint picnic for them. A uniquely designed candle was lit, and a seemingly expensive bottle of wine was also there. Venti soon flicked a finger toward them, and some wind was dispersed, revealing some Barbatos' Ratatouille... though, it seemed different from normal.

"Buoyant Breeze, Windblume. My specialty dish... care to try?" Venti mentioned, his playful tone giving way to a sort of nervousness.

Lumine raised a brow and approached the small setup, sitting down and watching as Venti did the same. Taking the meal, she soon took a bite of the meal.

Other than the Cecilia flowers used for decoration, the ingredients didn't seem no different from normal. But when she tasted it carefully, she tasted the flavor of "a wind that brings hope and tiny twists of fate." Perhaps...this is exactly what he wants.

"It's good. Really good." Lumine commented, taking another bite of it, her eyes catching Venti visibly relax and mutter something to himself. "Something up?"

"No, no! I just... thought maybe you wouldn't... like it? Or maybe it wasn't to your tastes?" Venti explained, fiddling with the hat. "Uh... changing the topic, would you like some wine?"

"Sure, just a little bit wouldn't hurt." Slightly caught off-guard yet amused by Venti's abruptness, though it was clear to her he wanted her to enjoy their time together.

With a clink of their glasses, they soon took a drink of their wine, enjoying it quite a lot. But Lumine... she supposed she wanted to make her first date memorable.

"How would you feel about a dance under the stars?" She mentioned, pulling herself close to Venti.

"A dance... under the stars, windblume?"

There wasn't much for either of them to say after Lumine's suggestion. Taking each other's hand, they soon danced under the moonlight, with an unheard symphony in their steps... and they ended their date night with a kiss.

Suffice to say... this night will be one they will remember for a long time.
