Turns out, that I was somewhat correct. As per usual because I was always right.

'Kidding!' I reassured myself. I wasn't that smart.

Coming to the hero agency that Mayu worked at was very simple and I didn't have to do much. It was peaceful and she didn't force me to do any paperwork either. Or at least, that's what she told me before we arrived. We now stood in front of the agency's doors.

Though, I didn't necessarily care as I just wanted to have more time to focus with what I had set my mind on.

"I'll show you around, sweetie. A different mentor is gonna be assigned to you since it's a bit busy now and the heroes are all going on dangerous missions." Mayu rubbed her cheek, mumbling the last part but I heard it loud and clear. With more and more villains appearing every day, it was no wonder that they got busy.

And in this arc, crazy things happen surrounding villains. No wonder that everyone wants to become one. As in, being 'rebellious and cool'. It was way too popularized in the media even if that wasn't the actual intention of it.

'I'm zoning out again.'

"That's okay." I respond and she started with the tour. I wasn't surprised about Mayu's words, from here on, the story was going to quickly spiral out of control.

I was determined to use my free time to uncover the whereabouts of Overhaul's place, even though the manga chapters I had access to; didn't reveal that information. But I couldn't remain idle.

I decided to not care if it hastens the plot's progress, even though I knew full well I'd have to face the consequences later. I couldn't just sleep normally every night and pretend that this world is normal, while simultaneously knowing that there's a little girl in deep, deep trouble.

My stomach twisted at the thought immediately. I tried telling myself that's it's okay because she's fictional but I'm living in this world now. It was not fine at all.

As I stepped into the giant hero agency building with my mother, an overwhelming sense of awe overcame me. Everywhere I looked, there were people bustling around and going about their day-to-day business. It wasn't loud at all. I could hear calm, peaceful music coming from the speakers. We walked through the main lobby and I took in all the details; from the dark carpets to the finely crafted furniture that gave a luxurious, rich feel to it all.

We kept on walking down various hallways until we came across some of the offices situated inside this impressive building. I glanced around and spotted a normal looking office, and inside of it there was a large desk with a monitor perched atop it, surrounded by shelves filled with books and paperwork. Mayu said that this was hers.
