I hope to live a life
That honors you
And brings you glory
I hope to follow you
Through the trials and temptations
And the best of days
I hope to worship you
Even when my heart aches
And my eyes fill with tears
I hope to read the Bible
Even when the day is hard
And I barely have the strength to concentrate
I hope to love others
As much as you love me
Even when they bring only harm
I hope to persevere
So that when I breathe my last breath
I will forever reside in paradise
Because where could I be happier
Than at Your kingdom
And in Your arms
